I see your point, but would there not be a difference between us playing that way and Chelsea? We don't have players the calibre of Drogba, Torres, Lampard, or Ramires at our disposal. We don't have anything like their money. We don't play week in/week out in the EPL, "the best league in the world" we're told. We'd be attempting to punch above our weight whereas Chelsea's been in the last few rds of the CL for a number of years now. There's being defensive-minded and then there's your striker playing left back and giving up penalties in more than one game.

could just feel it all through the game that chelsea were going to squeeze in a shadey goal, but to be fair, bayern should of put away their chances. for some reason they kept taking extra touchs and totally messing themselves up.

would rather lose a champions league final by going for it than winning by sitting back and waiting on your chances.

all the best entertainment came from bayern, and to top it off, neuer even scored a penalty!

Limassol will pump * out of Linfield so no chance we'll get them. Better chance of getting Shamrock Rovers.

Aye will probably be a 5+ goal skelping.

Cypriot teams are good and have done well in Europe for 6/7 years now, even their National team would give Scotland a game. Limassol would give us problems.

Linfield win, Portadown qualify in the Europa, as well...not a bad day for Irish football.
