    Rumours today are saying that Gordon Strachan is considering a move for Borussia Dortmund's swiss striker Alexander Frei and you can take a look at him from the videos below and from what i see of him the lad seems to know where the net is .

    Alexander Frei (born July 15, 1979 in Basel) is a Swiss footballer, currently playing for Borussia Dortmund in the German Bundesliga, as a striker. He signed a 4-year contract with Borussia Dortmund on June, 29th. Dortmund paid a transfer fee of aproximately 5 million euros for him.

    Frei was the highest goalscorer in the French league for the 2004-05 season with 20 goals, and was named Swiss footballer of the year the same season. He played for Switzerland at Euro 2004 and at the FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany. Till now he has been capped 54 times for his country (as of September 2006). Frei is only 3 goals short from being Switzerland's all time top scorer.

    It was in the Scottish Sun this morning that Greg Dalby could be about to sign for us after playing in a closed-doors match yesterday against St Johnstone which we won 1-0 with a goal from Gary Caldwell.

    he was a top pick in the MLS draft this year. 17th overall I think. He hasnt played in the MLS yet just at notre dame university.

    Well the best swiss striker by far, doesn't say much I know. He is a hard working fella, works for the team and is a predator too. On form he would score 1-2 goals a game for celtic.

    some facts about him, he went abroad to a french team, rennes. the manager back then hardly let him play and he rarely scored. the next season, he never gave up and fought for his place and finished 2nd with 20 goals. a season later he won the top goalscorer crown in the french league. he moved to borussia dortmund in summer with limited success. although he has scored 11 goals yet + about 5-10 assists, they are on their way down.

    Played 56 times for his country while scoring 32 goals.
