Kenny Miller might go to Barcelona mate so I doubt that will go through. It was reported earlier in the thread.

Before McDonald even kicks a ball for Celtic, I say he IS better than Miller, Zurawski, Jarosik, Sno, and possibly Beattie.
And when he does kick a ball for Celtic he WILL contribute more to the team and cause than any of the afore mentioned, of that I have no doubt whatsover! :86:

Celtic will lead an all star cast of cross channel clubs making their way to Richmond Park on monday night to cast an eye over Cork City hotshot Roy o Donovan.
Both sheffield wen and unt and mick mc carthys Wolves will also be represented in the crowd for the leesiders setanta cup clash with St Patricks Athletic.
O Donovans brilliant form towards the end of last season made him one of the hottest properties in the January transfer window.
How ever the Rebel Army battled to hold onto their prize asset, despite bids reaching nearly 500,000 euro being faxed in from england .

Hull city, southend and wolves were all reportedly interested in the Ireland B International, whose contract expires in November later this year.
They are all expected to renew their efforts in the summer to land the striker, while Celtic and the sheffield outfits could be prompted by next monday nights action to enter the bidding.
O Donovan had a spell in english football with coventry city and cheltenham town before joining his hometown club in 2005.
His move from the right wing to a central striking role late last season led to a flood of goals and a subsequent flood of interest in the highly rated 21 year old .

STORY FROM THE IRISH STAR And if this guy is the answer i don't know what the * question is.

    Kennedy to MLS

Speculation about john kennedy will be sent out on loan to a summer football league and the MLS are favourites. It is a chance for Kennedy to regain his fitness and return for the start of the SPL. I think its a great idea and hope its true.

I remember seeing big John making his debut against Motherwell when he was only 16 years old and thought then he had loads of potential. Started to show how good he could be before the injury (brilliant in the Nou Camp etc). Really hope he makes it back fully from injury. Cracking big player and could be a huge star for us in the future.

It's a very bad idea tbh.

    Why joining a mls team?

you hardly get to see a game on telly, every game somebody would have to travel from glasgow to usa (7-12... hours one way + the price) to specte him and his progress. you are in every relevant european country within 4-5 hours.

At the moment a few "good" teams are in relegation trouble, we should try to get some of their players in case they are going down.
