    Wait I'm confused now... my Dad just texted me to say that Sion had been reinstated. I then came on here and everyone seems to be saying that they haven't been reinstated, but a court has ruled in their favour... this court has nothing to do with UEFA, so they'll have to wait until UEFA have held their meeting to find out for sure. Is this correct?

    decision at 2pm apparently

    the only ones claiming Sion are back in are Sion themselves, UEFA havent made any decision yet.

    still an absolute farce they've let it go this far; if Sion are back in UEFA and FIFA will be inviting themselves a whole lot of trouble; 6 protests from the other 3 teams in the group not to mention a precedent whereby a civil court can overrule UEFA/FIFA.

    And if Sion are back in, you can * well expect Celtic will appeal.

    I haven't read the finer details of the appeal, but surely it's as simple as; Sion broke the rules, therefore they've been appropriately punished?

    It will be an absolute farce if they're reinstated for several reasons:
    1. Sion clearly cheated
    2. It would mean giving the courts authority over them, which they've always said they do not have
    3. The appeal comes 2 days before the opening game. This is not nearly enough time for fans to organise tickets, travel etc, and I don't even know what Atletico are doing about tickets
    4. The other clubs want to play Celtic. They wan't to travel to one of the best stadiums in Europe and play in front of the best fans in the world, not a * little under developed Swiss stadium.

    We will know at 2 then. My gut feeling is that this is just the sion nuter saying his team are in when they are not. He is just clinging on, surely they cant be reinstated?

    What a load of * that sion is, Celtic will appeal and win anyway then if a court can overule uefa, * it lets just appeal the champions league final and win that.:56:
