They better not ignore a civil court's decision. Not a healthy thing to do.

As far as I understand, it's not a final verdict, but as it's said "provisional". Comparable to a case where you get withdrawn your driver's licence, you appeal and while the appeal is running you are still allowed to drive until there is a final verdict. The court sees good chances for Sion and it believes that Sion would incur considerable disadvantages, that's why these provisional measures are handed-out (I guess so). Maybe Gimenez knows more about it. I'm really no law expert.

This is worrying. If Sion get reinstated based purely on their geographic location then it's a * sham.

FFS, what part of "civil courts have no jurisdiction over football matters" do Sion not understand!!?? they failed the first time despite a friendly civil court ruling in their favour as UEFA quite rightly upheld their rules; rules which a jumped up swiss court has no right to tell them how to apply

i'll be astonished if UEFA do a u-turn

Lol the translators are *, the next one says:

11:46 Members of the Legal Service of the Celtic do not give up their phones during the break. The news of the decision was probably their civil transmitted.

It means that there could be some connection between the pause at UEFA's committee and the news about the court decision.

Think If I win the EuroMillions tonight I'll use the money to get the courts here in Belfast to force UEFA to install Donegal Celtic into the Europa League, after all they have been descriminated against, just because they weren't good enough to qualify doesn't mean they shouldn't be there. Let's have a group of 6!

Starting to have a serious dislike for this mob :47:

Sion's owner reminds me of that old Einstein quote:

"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result"

I surely don't. Just like 99% of the people talking about the case. The only thing I noticed over the past few weeks is that many experts on sports law critiziced UEFA for their course of action and stated that Sion's case was legitimate. Today's decision seems to confirm this. Of course the Swiss Courts (and the CAS) might still decide against Sion in some weeks (months?). UEFA knew what was coming. And now they're running out of time to start a counter-manoeuvre. Intelligent move by Sion I would say.

That is what I thought. The court did not rule on the merits but only awarded interim measures.

We are still in the dark what these interim measures would be and how they can interfere with a European game taking place in Madrid involving a Spanish and Scottish side.

The game is organised by a Swiss association, that is all that counts.

(not saying that I consider this good or not, but that's how it is).

so basically Swiss clubs can do what the * they like just because FIFA and UEFA happen to be based there? Aye right. If that was the case that would give Switzerland a totally unfair advantage over the rest of Europe due to an accident of geography. Plus if that were the case that a no mark civil court could overrule football governing bodies, whats to stop us from going to a Scottish court demanding we be allowed into the EPL? Or for Man City to go to a court in England to get around the incoming financial fair play rules?

Accept it; your team cheated and were rightly thrown out for their cheating.

I don't think that Swiss courts care about whether some Swiss team plays in the competition or not. They just do their job, which is to put through their law. And their law governs UEFA. UEFA could have chosen to reside in Belarus if they wanted, but they have been in Switzerland for 50 years and I think legal security is one reason for this.

And... I'll post this for the 100th and last time: http://www.tas-cas.org/rules (Rule 37). It is clearly stated that Civil courts are allowed in particular situations as these.
