R*ngers v Celtic ,18 September 2011.

shocking. i said last nite on this thread that our midfield dont create enough and that was the case today we got totaly over run in the middle and only created 1 chance from open play all day. gutted

 

celtic are the club on its knees and lennon lawell etc are starting to look like they havent got what it takes it hurts me to say this but lennon cost us today

 

When did it become general consensus that Forster is a good keeper?

How are Hooper and Ki able to attract considerable price tags when they continually shy away on the big stage?

Why was Charlie Mulgrew allowed to remain the pitch despite demonstrating all the symptoms of a man intent on getting sent off?

Why was Bangura introduced at such a late stage in the game (and without the required prior experience of Scottish football) despite costing over two million (this guy is the supposed answer to our transfer window “we need a clinical striker” calls)?

 

Absolutely * gutted. How could we lose to this *?

 

lenny isnt up to it in my opinion, how da * does he not realise that we need a commanding centrehalf, glenn loovens is a * fairy, forster has the presence of a mouse, kelvin wilson was * today, mulgrew at left midfield left me baffled, samaras is a * useless greek *, this team we have is * absolute ballix, im disgusted. rangers ran us ragged and theyre * *, lennon has been given half decent money yet all he seems to be buying is squad players not 1st eleven. go out and spend good money on 2 commanding brick shithouse centre backs

 

They are * - we made them look like a class team today when they aren't. When we play as bad like that ANY team will look good.

Apart from Hooper's goal there isn't one thing you can take from that match and say we played really well in. Fair enough if they outplayed us, out matched us but we gave them that match by playing utter pish.

 

K.Wilson and Ki had poor games stokes and banguara did nothing to influence the game when they came on neither did forrest suprisingly poor display

 

Gutted today . They deserved it today hun *. WE just cant cope with any high balls into our box. defence atrocious it could have been six. Oh well maybe a couple of more beers to dampen the pain.

what? We deserve * all from that mate? Rangers played us off the park the second half.

 

the starting line up was * mate. we should never have started samaras. we should never have started mulgrew in left mid. we should never have started loovens. we started nobody that had any creativity. we started in a way to defend rangers, instead of to get at them and it didnt work. I thought that Neil Lennon would be good at injecting that bit of passion, that fighting spirit into the team but it seems i was wrong. i have to blame lennon for this loss.

 

We just got absolutely humped by possibly the worst Huns team I have ever seen. Lenny's team selection was awful. Lafferty's offside goal should have counted and if McGregor didn't * up that would have made it 5-1. We were destroyed by them. Embarrassing

 

I would try to be unprejudiced.
Kevin Wilson is guilty for first goal.
Hooper's goal was a master-piece. But, he didn't do anything else.
our second goal was a present. Thanks McGregor.
Lafferty was not in offside. Nullified goal-it was referee's mistake.
the Huns terrorised us in second half. i hate to say it, but they were better team. We played European game, and our players were tired, yeah, yeah,yeah... If you want to be respected team, you have to physically fit.

Lennon, if he doesn't bring the title at CP, he should/would go.
One name was in my head: Martin O' Neill.
I hope we will be the champs this year, but if we continue to play like today... we are going to be screwed.

 

We were * awful today, lost in every aspect of the game, didnt win the little battles all over the park that you need to win, in order to win the game.

We got royally pumped today.

I actually text my cousin saying that although Mulgrew played alright, he needed subbed as was going to get red carded, that was after the 2 fouls 5 minutes into the second half, even though one wasnt a foul, he was penalised.

Once he moved to left back it was a * certainty.

I'm not normally the critical type, but Lennon * up there, if it's obvious to me, as an * footballer, it should be * blatant to a coach.

Which incidently, I believe, we are needed a new injection, the coaching for the defenders is all wrong, they have no idea what to do, or aint learning. Same goal today as V Althetico.

Looks * * at best.

we always lose the first OF game of the season, with all the tax stuff they had everything to play for, Rogne is coming back soon so we will have a decent CB avalaible and hopefully K wilson can get out of this slump Mark wilson needs to be dropped as he has benn horrible this season

 

We were up 2-1 (mind you, El Khaddouri's goal was a gift) and proceeded to ship 3 goals and lose 4-2. I should be * raging. But I'm not so much. Asking myself why, and thinking it has something to do with expecting to * up any game worth a *. Getting used to it. Pathetic.

A fair point but even the foreign guys they buy that are suppose to be * look like Rangers fans compared to most of our players today.

Kayal the one guy who had guts last season was * today, not sure why Ledley wasn't playing.

Charlie Mulgrew, Mark Wilson, James Forrest and Anthony Stokes are all Celtic fans.

They just wanted it more and were more determined to get it. We had tactics that showed weakness from the off with playing Samaras who hardly ever plays except against Rangers.
