If Brown starts wide ahead of Forrest after the weekend and last night I won't be happy, he's obviously a much bigger threat.

Unless we're playing 4-5-1 and dropping a striker for the extra midfielder, I don't think there's anyone in the midfield that he deserves to get in ahead of right now.

Anyone hear anything about Kelvin Wilson's hamstring injury? Loads of rumours on twitter that he could be out Sunday.

same team that faced Athletico apart from Brown on for Forrest and El Kaddouri on for Loovens with Mulgrew playing in the middle with K. Wilson.

i seriously hope we smash them and i mean really smash them, like 4-0. i want to give them a reality check that they're a * team on paper and McCoist is a terrible choice of manager. i want their deluded fans to know that they're in the * at the end of this game. in other words, i want to absolutely ruthlessly crush them. when we're 4-0 up, i don't want us to sit back, i want us to go for a 5th.

Exact same as what I'd have chosen. With this team I think we'll win comfortably.
I'd prefer Stokes in for Samaras, but I wouldn't be too unhappy if Samaras is in the starting line up.

 

their defenders are slow ...we must start with Stokes & Hooper ..

 

Stokes and hooper have to start there the best partnership we have and if stokes dont make it throw bangura is as he is an unknown the huns wouldnt know how to play him and sammy would just do * all anyway!

I haven't seen enough of Bangura to decide if he should be a starter and I can't see Lenny taking the risk of throwing him in from the start on Sunday.

The first 20 minutes or so are going to be hectic with a lot of OF debutes being made and if we can force their defence into making mistakes early, grab the early goal I can see us going on to get at least another. Hopefully more of course.

 

Really, why?

He hasn't shown a single thing yet and you want to throw him into an old firm game.
He need to prove himeself when he comes off the bench first in comfotable games when we are 3 up (like Sunday maybe)

stokes out. *. we spent 2.2 mil on bangura he should be able to step in to this game along side hooper.

 

Not exactly a reliable source mate. Players will have today off and in for light training Saturday so I wouldn't expect any official team news until then unless Stokes is 100% out and Lenny says this.

But I see no reason why even if hes not fit to announce the fact in advance which could help opposition team selection.
