People have mentioned how forrest bears a passing resemblance to Craig Bellamy

Well I think he could play up front, (Which I think he did for the development team which in which he scored for fun)

With him and Banguras Pace and movement the huns just wouldnt know what hit them

but seen as you ask Im not high but Im up way past my bedtime as usual

Hard to believe this match is upon us already, we need to take something from this game, hopefully it will be 3 points :50:

I'm going to predict it will be like last season, we'll play them off the park! 3-1 Celtic and I'm being generous giving them a goal.

    Ki must start IMO.

Ive probably posted a team already but i think we should go with Ki and Kayal in the centre with commons and forrest out wide. Stooper up from and a back line of Wilson Wilson Mulgrew ElKad. Big Fraser in goals

I wouldn't want to see Commons and Forrest in the team alongside 2 strikers in most SPL games, never mind rangers away!

    Forster

    Wilson Wilson Mulgrew El Kaddouri

    Brown Kayal Ki Ledley

    Stokes Hooper

Wouldn't mind a team that looks something like that.

It's the midfield which is the hardest to choose from.

Been away in America for 3 weeks and almost out the loop with fixtures and to my pleasant surprise this game is upon me!

Bangura starting, as an unknown quantity, could be a shout. Not seen or heard much of him but 2.2 million is decent money for someone leaving the Swedish league.

Brown shouldn't just walk back into this team.

Brown will always play if he's fit for an OF game no matter what the support think.

Lennon feels he needs him in the OF games and tbh I agree.

He a B Ferguson type player, OF games aren't about amazing football and attacking it's about getting the job done. Brown brings that imo.

Does he though, I mean how many great OF games has Brown really had?

Think we can do without him, especially if he's just coming off an injury, there's no room for anyone that's not 100%.

I disagree. Brown is a headless chicken, Kayal and Ledley show just as much fight as Brown and are technically 100X better than Brown. If Rangers play Broadfoot at LB again then James Forrest is a must start, he would tear him to shreds. Even Wallace at LB, as Wallace is decent going forward but can't defend.

Motherwell at home is a different kettle of fish from rangers away entirely.

    As you are !

    Agree with this !
Lenny, 4-4-2, Attack them and we win - do this and lose and I`ll accept responsibility with you.
To be honest, they are a poor team - we are so much better. We have such a good chance to win here - please dont meddle ( after all if it all goes wrong you still have the squad to change things ) Would be wonderful to win here when they are so down !

I think we'll see something like this from the huns

    McGregor
    Whittaker Goian Bocenagra Wallace
    Naismith Davis McCulloch Edu McKay
    Jelavic

But tbh i dont have a clue about their team :56:

McCulloch will defo start though. Hopefully Edu starts too. I dont know if Goian, Bocanagra & McKay are any good, or are even first choice for them lol.

We should beat that team though!

Think like some other posters we should be attacking them from the start. Could end up a decent win like 3-1, or more.

If we sit back, Davis and Naismith could cause us trouble.

I don't think it will just be the 1st XI that does the job, Forrest and Bangura will have roles to play.

    Starting line up: -

    Forster
    M.Wilson K.Wilson Mulgrew El Kaddouri
    Brown Kayal Ki Ledley
    Hooper Stokes

worst thing we can do is allow them to have a go at us , i have no faith what so ever in our defence but i reckon if we come out the traps all guns blazing it will shake them up especially the new boys who dont know what an old firm is all about , an early goal to give us a lift and take it from there easy bhoys 2-0

Agree with everything except that i would change Brown for Forrest, he should start after that fantastic performance vs Motherwell imo! and Bangura in for Stokes if the story about him injured is true..

Forrest will get booted off of the park- then disappear out the game like a wee boy.
Broony in for me- so long as he controls his temper -if we go down to 10 men there could be trouble for us!!!

So I would have Forest as sub and bring him on about 60/70 mins depending on the balance of the game.

Nonsense. No questionmarks over James Forrest's spirit and bravery for me. :50:

Mate, that's like saying Shaun Maloney in for me, so long as he's 6 foot 4 and never gets injured. :56:
The main reason Scott Brown should never start in an Old Firm game is precisely that he is a total liability, he does get wound up, and he's about an even money chance to get sent off if the game gets tasty. Add the fact that as soon as he's on a yellow, his already-limited game is completely neutered, because he lacks the calmness to rein himself in and still stay effective.

We need cool heids on Sunday, not daft heiders. :50:
