When are some fans going to realise we dont have the money for what they consider "quality" signings, you have to pay for quality and we dont have that kind of money surely its not that hard to understand.

disappointed that we didn't get rid of Samaras and get a replacement in and that the players loaned weren't sold (accept Juarez).

imo we may have one too many centre backs at the club.

as for the window in general i'm pleased with the signings but disappointed that we didn't get any experience in.

What does that prove? that lawels idea of quality is different than yours? we knew that already though didnt we?

 

he thinks that because he's mastered signing strategy in either Fifa or FM that "quality signings" within our price range include successful EPL or other big league players.

 

Have you read that article, at no point does he say we will sign 2 or 3 quality players, "“We just need to maintain what we have got, develop and, over this transfer window, add two or three players to give us that wee bit more quality,” he said."

 

I just cannot believe we havent signed another centre back, its the same every * year, the last decent centre back we had was Bobo Balde. Every centre back we've had since him has been completely exposed when up against a decent side in Europe. The fact that we have lost the league the past 3 seasons against a terrible rangers team is bad enough nevermind our embarrassing performances in Europe. I mean I know we cant compete with teams from leagues such as the premiership and la liga anymore but Sion? The worst celtic can possibly do is to finish 2nd to Rangers which has happened for the past 3 seasons. Its about time we made some decent signings in important areas and not the likes of Maijstorovic who has been completely destroyed when he has come up against very average at best sides in europe such as utrecht and sion.

Im pretty happy with the transfer window. Kayal, Ki, Izaguirre and Hooper all still here. I would have liked to see more players moving on..

As for the marquee signings.... Personally Im glad we arent * out daft wages for the likes of Bellamy etc. .

When we have a fanbase of over 10 Million pay stupid money to watch us play against garbage and have family and punters fork out over £40 for the 2 away tops they fling at us every single year and all the other overpriced merch * in the thousands, we loose the title 3 years running get kicked out of Europe by a team of * part time joiners yet still give everything to the club and more.

And the billionaire board lined with our money pay us back by giving Lennon £3million.. sorry mate but it's a * joke and to most people it's more than hard to understand just why the * we put up with it again.

Blame the manager for not signing players for positions. He's brought in loads now during his time so it's his fault...IF all goes wrong

 

The only position I'd like to see us bring another player in for would be in central defence, but that's been done to death. K.Wilson and Mulgrew are good enough players to help us win the league, IMO.
