Yes but the question is why wasnt the guy convicted. The answer if it was impossible due to only one witness testifying. No judge or jury could have found him guilty. it wasnt in their gift. It was legally impossible.

It's disgusting he got away with it. We knew it was religiously motivated, Lenny knows, he's knows and tbh the judge and jury probably know as well, but unfortunately there is no evidence to prove it, which is a complete kick in the balls.

He committed more than he was charged with...due to evidence. Annoyingly that's it

Law is all about Legal Precedent. The Sheriff should have said " ffs, we all seen the moron attacking Lennon, am no giving a * if only one person heard the bigot, he's going doon" or words to that effect.

We all know what happened and why it happened and I know in * Scots law he could not be found guilty however there is right and wrong. Natural justice has not been served.

The PF made the mistake by nit dropping the aggravation of assault

That's what i was getting at and it's why the legal system often fails those it is supposed to protect.

Are you * serious? Seriously? In the context of Neil Lennon only days and weeks before this attack suffering death threats, bomb threats, actual bombs being sent to his family, bullets being sent to his family home...etc etc you think this was not serious? Get a * grip man.

I am getting * well annoyed with some of the pish posted on here tonight.

The PF could have drooped the aggravation and took a common assault and BOP. They didn't, probably due to public pressure given it was Lennon...and this is the result

They will have done, but how can they prove it? Thats all the judge and jury want. They can't legally charge him without solid evidence. It's pathetic in cases like this.

What went before is irrelevant to this case. Like it or not.

Exactly. The whole system stinks. I'm not even talking about Lennon's case now but in general. As i said, it's a game.

The PF was more than likely a corrupt hun. The forces of Law and Order have previous in Lothian and Borders.
