  1. Still not convicted though?

  2. You could have fooled me.

    "Let's not get hysterical".

  3. As the case hasn't been heard yet...no

  4. Hail Hail ZacDaddy :50:

  5. this scummer has still to be sentenced for BOP at a later date?

  6. :97:. the snp aren't in favour of making scotland a republic is it?

  7. One witness is good enough for me. What the * is the problem? Why are we getting bogged down in the intricacies of Scots law. I * know he is one of a million bigots in Scotland trying to force Lennon to leave. You seem more interested in defending the * acquittal.

  8. You honestly believe it wasnt a sectarian attack? Seriously. Prove it nothing. This * attacked our manager for no other reason than he is an Irish Catholic managing our team. A manager who's season was blighted with constant internet bile and death threats from idiots just like him. Bullets and bombs sent to him in the post. Because he was an Irish Catholic managing Celtic. 24 hr security.

And you think this clown attacked for some other reason??

Argue it all you want. Stick up for the scottish legal system any way you like.

This result is a joke. People from across the world will see this and think , *??

  9. Scots law dictates.

  10. That's ridiculous

  11. It was 100%...proving it is another matter

  12. Your a robot.

  13. What is?

  14. No I think it was probably sectarian but I understand is a legal impossibility to convict on the basis of a single witness willing to testify in Scots law.

  15. Stating I am mire interested in defending the decision. Nonsense.

    I'm exposing why it happened.

  16. Correct

Looks that way. I hate people that say we must do things by the book, the law is the law etc. The legal system rarely results in justice, it's more a game of semantics, technicalities and opinions. A verdict can depend on the intelligence of the jury or even on the judge's mood.

  17. No it was based on evidence, sadly

  18. not unlike me, and more than a couple of beers in, but the punishment has to be appropriate. Not that I think this is.

when a serious crime is committed I'm all for throwing the book and if he'd been carrying a weapon then throw the * book at him. But this wasn't that. I was one * of a man deciding to look big in front of his so called mates and making an * of himself (and coming off worse to the bargain).

It's not totally proportionate the verdict, but locking the guy up would be ridiculous. He attempted a swipe. He failed. It's not a million miles away from tapping Dida on the shoulder..........

I stand behind the manager, I stand behind the club and I'm definitely unhappy with how it panned out but the punishment has to fit the crime.

    Annoyingly.

  19. I cant believe some of the posts I am reading here. Whatever happened to "We Are All Neil Lennon"? This attack formed part of a sustained, dangerous, and vile hate campaign against the manager of our club.

Todays verdict is nothing short of astonishing. Breach of the Peace is a crime commited in pubs, teenagers bedrooms and high streets, it is kids swearing at police officers. It is NOT a man attacking another in front of 17,000 peole while his victim tries to work.

Breach of the Peace can arise from virtually any conduct which caused or (can generally be regarded as being reasonably likely to cause) either alarm, annoyance, upset or embarrassment.

None of these terms come close to describing the crime this man commited.
