If these reported moves don't materialise are the board going to get blamed for "lying" or "leading fans on"

These are tabloid rumours that everyone has bought into.

If they do come off it's fantastic IMO

It doesn't mean we will win anything but it shows boards commitment to improving the team

 

In terms of moving players out the door, there's not a lot the board can do. They can however sign the correct players for the manager.

 

Well, they can try sign the players the manager wants. Whether they are the correct players will remain to be seen...the board don't identify players

There is no bigger doubter abt our boards intentions than me . that said if the players mentioned actually do join Celtic then big brownie points go to our board ,the desicion to award sammy a new 3 year deal was baffling but it appears now to be the correct desicion if sunderland are ready to pay almost 3 mill for a player who has 3 years of his contract to run . As for maloney i would,nt have had him back in 1st place so 1 or 2 mill is certainly a good deal , but where is the centre half ? As some pundit on rdaio pointed out we have 7 central defenders and apart from big kelvin none of the others are cleary good enough ,will the 2 new bhoys if they sign spell the end for stokes and maybe even hooper ? Time will tell all i know is we appear to be coming out of this window a stronger Celtic than when we went into it ,C,mon the hoops the board appear to have given LENNY the tools to work with lets do it now

i,ve said all along that lennon never once said the board are,nt backing him...i really think he needs a clearout of cb....loovens hoiveld...keep wilson..we,ve got mulgrew,rogne for me who is the standout...maj dont look up to it but keep as cover....id of thought long and hard about 8 mill for ki to be honest.....
