    Im basing this on what i seen onn twitter the other day with a gossip rumour saying were buying two african strikers for a combined total off 4.5 million euros. I thought it was going to be Bangura and Yakubu but Bangura (2.5million euros) and Baba (2 million euros) seem to fit the rumour far too welll considering it was said 4 days before these two were linked.

    Even if they do it comes down to where the player wants to go. That said it's been stated on the thread that can't afford = won't pay which is typical Celtic. I don't see the point in looking at Ferraris and telling people I'm interested, but wasting time as I cannot afford it. Deciding I don't want one but can afford one is another matter.

    It seems Celtic's trouble this year is they genuinely want a player, can afford them but won't pay. During all the messing about 'negotiating' time ticks on and we miss out on that player and possibly others.

    It's simple don't make noises about players unless you're willing to meet their current club's valuation.

    I was with a friend yesterday who knows one of Celtic's youth scouts, and he got a text from the boy saying that Celtic had signed someone from Sweden. I assume this is the guy he was talking about, as for reliability I don't know but the boy 100% is a Celtic scout.

    I reckon we've signed this lad.

    He's certainly not the tall, powerful targetman I think we need. According to wikipedia, he's smaller than Stokes- Bangura is 5 ft 9 and Stokes is 5 ft 11.
