Honestly, did you see the game last night mate?

 

We seem to raise our games against good opponents and play * against diddy teams...

 

think it's disgraceful that Sion fielded a team with eligible players. i think we would have gone through if they were to field their legible players. however, we got beat fair and square. Majstorovic needs to get tae. he is supposed to bring experience to the squad. what he brought was the immaturity of a sixteen year old debutant. shocking. the only thing i can thank the Lord for is hopefully Lennon now sees Majstorovic for what he is and partners Mulgrew with K. Wilson in the middle, something we all new during preseason that should of happened.

think if we were to go through we'd have been in pot 2, yet due to Sion cheating, we'd be in pot 4. that is shocking as well.

livid with the result, display, Majstorovic, lack of European games for the last two years at Celtic Park and Sion/UEFA for the saga of these eligible players being fielded.

if Sion were to be thrown out, which i hope they do, we'd struggle with all these teams but we need European games this season.

Aye we were upagainst it from the first whistle. If the same hapoens againstthose teams wed get pumped too.

But the Group games are much less pressure. Its really a nothing competition and teams dont play at 100% in it, especiallly the Group Stages. I think the Europa Group games are the least competitive European games you get. They will be good for our players and manager to learn as so far all we've had are high pressure qualifying games.

We don't deserve to go thru, that's a fact! but sion were at it. they were warned b4 the game not to play them and yet they still did. i don't know wether i'll be pleased or just embarrassed if celtic go thru this way. Group stages would surely be good not only for lenny gettin experience in europe but also financially...maybe big dan can go and get his head examined in time 4 group stages.

That group is solid, the best we can hope for is 2nd place with a huge bit of luck. Unfortunately 'luck' and a Celtic European campaigns don't really go together these days.

 

Wish people would stop all this grasping at straws...they beat us they was better than us....cant we lose with some grace for * sake.

 

We dont deserve to go through but neither do they for cheating, fielding numerous ineligible players. You should be punished when found out to be cheating not rewarded.

Our grace left glasgow the last time we played them and has been seen somewhere in the south of france on holiday.:icon_mrgreen:

 

Obviously there are certain positions that need to be addressed to (namely CB,LB and ST), but if the board get some money out for a change I honestly think we could give these teams a game.

We need to strengthen though.
