So her family state she had no illegal drugs in her system, and the press quote this as though they've seen the toxicology report. Spin and fluff.

Poor * did enough gear in her time, to kill an elephant.
They'll come out and say she died naturally in her sleep next.

Did they have to be in her system at time of death for her to die due to drug addiction?

I don't think it takes Einstein to work out what happened.

perhaps not illegal drugs, but an overdose of prescription drugs?

i dont ever use the "junkie deserve to die comment". but as the a population (not individuals on here) feel great empathy for her, i just dont buy it.

If a homless man who abused his body the same way was found dead, which they are evryday the same general sympathy is simply not present.

no one deserves to die so young, but unfortuinitly in this case i think it was a product of endless abuse of her body.

That is my line of thinking....or, her constant abuse just caught up with her.

Toxoligy reports and post mortem results can be viewed online for a fee, they are readily available and theres nothing you can do to stop them being published.

If she had drugs...illegal or non illegal, in her system when she died the papers would have been all over it. Im sure this will have come as a great disappointment to them.

The post mortem result was inconclusive. So the likelyhood was that her chronic lung condition or her alcohol withdrawl was simply too much for her fragile body to deal with.

You would be beyond naive to think a medical condition and only a medical condition killed her.

She kicked the * out of her body and it gave up.

It would be very unlikely for a body just to give up because of frequent drug abuse. Bodies are very resilient and can cope with constant harsh conditions without giving up. Other than an overdose of course. But an overdose was not the case concerning Amy Winehouse.

There must be another reason behind this. Strange one. You don't just die all of a sudden because your a drug addict.

No, I dont think purely the medical condition killied her, I said a her fragile body wouldnt have been able to cope
