Kids @ Old Firm

Discussion in 'Celtic Supporters Info' started by Gundog, Aug 23, 2011.

  1. Whats you opinion/advice on this, I know that Mia is fine when we play other teams but I would imagine an Old Firm would be slightly different.

  2. I've heard a few bad things about kids at old firms, these have all been at Ibrox though. At Celtic park I would imagine there shouldn't be a problem.

  3. Keep them away from Ibrox- so long as you have a safe route to Celtic Park- but I would n't take anyone under 14 yr old myself.
Noo and again you just ned your wits aboot yE!!! Just in case you need to get the Nike's on!!!!
If that is your bairn in the picture I wouldn't take them-sorry they need to be a wee bit older in my view!!!
Maybe it is because I have seen some bad hatred/fighting the usual bollox!!!!

  4. Yeah thats the wee one am on about, she loved the noise and crowds (she must be the only Celtic fan that enjoyed Sundays game lol) and I would be parked close by cos I like to arrive hours early but yeah i'm worred some hun * would be hangin about ootside lookin to start trouble

  5. if its at CP not a problem just park in barrowfield st the old coach park is now a carpark and the orcs wont get near the celtic end

  6. You call mate

I would hate to see a wee yin get caught up in the middle of something!!! Best take her to see the 'wee teams'- then whe she gets older - get her tarined in Karate - then you will have no fears- she will be able to gee ye a hand if things get out of control!!!:50:

  7. Whilst where on the subject is there any bother from huns at the car parks by the stadium

  8. Car Parks Last Rrangers Game I went to

I park up near the CSC Club on London Rd- but this is quite near the Rangers end- there was a bam walking down London Rd - bumping into Celtic fans just looking for a fight (he had no colours on, but he was effing anfd jeffing)- then I also noticed a guy who thought he was the bees knees , as he walked through the Celtic part of the Jock Sten entrances then as a 'big man' pulled out his Rangers scarf.

It is the same old you always need your wits about you. You are in Galsgow so there is always a bam just around the corner!!!!!

  9. My season ticket is in 114 what happens to me on old firm day? Do I get shifted?

  10. im in 114 aswell, depends where your seat is. if your seats is taken up by the divide, then you get a ticket elsewhere. Thats if your ticket is valid for rangers games

  11. aye I have all the games I am row P seat 18

  12. How old is she ?

Been to loads of derby games, both at our place and the Govan shitpit, and I've never seen any trouble whilst going to the game or immediately after it on the way out of the stadium. There's literally hundreds of polis, you should be fine.

  13. Shes a week shy of 2, she loved the game on sunday she went 2

  14. I rarely have an issue with trouble getting in and out of the stadium but I still wouldnt take a child to an old firm game in my opinion. Just too much general hatred and aggression in the air and I wouldnt like my kid to be part of that.

  15. Already decided now, shes no going to an old firm game, maybe try getting her to Hearts or Aberdee,...shes already been once and loved it.

  16. Don't take her to Tynecastle - It's 100 times worse than Ipox.

Hearts is like O** F*** but with less police. I was at the 3-0 game and I thought a riot was about to start, was mental.

  17. Hearts and Rangers, not a good idea mate. I think folk who say Tynecastle is more dangerous than Ibrox are correct. Those * are nuts and as already pointed out, there are less police (although there will be more next time, after what happened to Lennon).

  18. ooo no, am only planning taking her to home games

  19. You should have absolutely no trouble then.:50:
