FC Sion v Celtic: 25/08/11

Well im a well known Ki lover but he had a shocker tonight ill be the first to admit that, but ill be honest in saying the game was over after 1 minute, once we were chasing goals in a 1-8 formation we are bound to get sucker punched, sion could have scored 5 tonight.

Our defence was playing in the striking position and all we had at the back was Ki and he took too long on the ball and there was no one to cover and we lost a shocker of a goal.

Terrible defending for their first and second and third goals, hooper is turning into mcdonald every single day can't keep himself onside and is constantly moaning about everything.

Kayal was obviously unfit and even then was woeful, the whole midfield wasn't very good, upfront samaras was better than hooper but it still wasn't good enough, the back line after maj went off was caught out all the time, mulgrew getting skint by that feindounho guy and ledley playing in the wrong position. At times i thought Mowbray was back at celtic, the substitutions or lack thereof was baffling.

Simply a terrible performance by the players, with a small amount of blame for the management staff who seemed like they had no idea what to do next, but what can you do when your most experienced player looses you the game after a minute?

i believe we never offered him a contract and i believe the wages we play our players are much higher than those that they pay to theirs. If you look at our squads on paper ours is filled with internationals and theirs is not so you would probably say our squad is better. however football matches are not won on paper they out played us and their manager out thought lennon but we didnt lose because their players were much better which is why this loss is so frustrating. We should be able to play at this level the team we played tonight were not especially talented or skillful and reminded me alot of hearts or dundee united in their quality but after one stupid mistake by maj the whole game was changed and we forced back on our heels for the full 90 minutes

 

You should stop supporting Celtic.

Ki let us down big time tonight, big time. Should have took their player out for the third one, and should have made more of an effort to close the boy down for their second.

This team has gone backwards since last season and that is a major concern, I can see no signs of things improving you would have to wonder what has gone wrong. I can't see us picking up 92 points this season unless Lenny gets to grip with the malaise that has set in.I only managed to see the 2nd half and i was shocked at the body language of several players, all Sammy needed was a dog on a * lead and he would have looked the part proper.
