Yes he does win them in the air but he plays them into no one, a ball bouncing off your head doesnt make you good in the air.

Last week mainly because there was no support with Stokes wide left and Commons wide right.

4-4-2 here makes sense and I like the lineup. Would only argue Stokes in for Hooper, but mind you, I think Stokes was one of Lennon's "victims" after the St Johnstone game. One of the so called "guys who didnt want to be here" or whatever

    Team is up!

NEIL Lennon welcomes back injured trio Gary Hooper, Beram Kayal and Kelvin Wilson to the starting XI for the second-leg of the Europa League play-off against FC Sion.

Injury doubt Charlie Mulgrew also makes the team. Cha Du Ri, and Georgios Samaras come back into the side too after missing Sunday’s defeat to St Johnstone.

CELTIC (4-4-2): Forster; Cha, K. Wilson, Majstorovic, Mulgrew; Brown, Kayal, Ki, Ledley; Samaras, Hooper
Subs: Zaluska, M. Wilson, Matthews, McCourt, Forrest, Commons, Stokes

Nobody was in the area for the knock-ons. Nothing Sammy can do about that.

Can't believe Neil Lennon has picked that fud up front again. Well actually I can believe it. That's what makes it even more annoying. :31:

Folk still making excuses for Sammy. He has been pish for some time now. Played in the lone role last week and never looked like scoring.

Player for the big games? Like last week?

    We will see.

I hope and pray the big Greek can turn it on and it all falls into place, but his history doesnt make me hopeful. Hooper and him havent been able to forge a partnership so it seems bizarre, however if he has a blinder and we win then that is all we can ask for.
