I actually had a dream before that me and 2 of my pals were being chased with a guy who chased us to my house and I ran in picked up a bat, came out as he was just coming up the stairs and smacked him on the head and he fell back and his head burst open like a watermelon when he hit the ground and then about 10 days later the guy who was chasing us in the dream died in real life of an anyeurysm or however its spelled. This was a few years ago when I was about 15. So he hit the ground in one of my dreams then died quite soon after.

I've had a precognitive dream once, and like in your case, it was a slightly-modified version of what actually happened, but strikingly recognizable when it did happen. The dream was pretty powerful emotionally, like it was intended to shock me, and it left me unsettled for a couple of days. Then on the evening of I think the 2nd or 3rd day, this totally out-of-the-blue event happened, which I recognised almost immediately from the dream, and - after a period of just being stunned - was able to avoid the thing that I would otherwise probably have done.

I can't remember any other precognitive ones. But one of my mates has had several of them - not strictly precognitive, but telling him about something other folk didn't yet know about. Again, like in our cases, the event in the dream was slightly modified from the real-life one. But in his case, the modification was the same each time, so he eventually came to know what the dream signified, and when he enquired about it, the dream was right each time.

Quite weird. The dream I had is the one and only time ive "killed" someone in a dream too. I woke up right after it and thought it was a weird dream and then was quite shocked aswell when the guy died. Ive been waiting since for it to happen again to see if the person will die again but its never happened since, probably just a coincidence. :97:

    meant to add this earlier.

When I was in Turkey 2 years ago I drank a few cocktails before bed and ended up having a serious migraine (runs in the family) so took a few tablets, pints of water bla bla.

Went to sleep and had this weird but real dream. I was about 9 in my dream and my close friends from my childhood were there (who I don't speak to now) and had a dream that we murdered a boy by accident and put him under my bed in my old house.

Woke up the next morning thinking this was 100% real and ruined my whole day, couldn't stop thinking about it at all....If someone accidentally killed someone for real that is exactly what I was feeling. Everyone was asking ' are you ok' etc etc

Must have been due to drink, migraine and dehydration but scary as *.

You can use it to your advantage by turning it into a lucid dream.

If you recognise you're in sleep paralysis, then you can attempt to control your hallucinations. If you relax enough then you can slip into a dream state in which you should be fully lucid and therefore able to control it.

I find it difficult but I'm able to every now and then.

Yeah, in lucid dreams you can control everything and it feels 100% real. Your brain thinks its real life.

Scared to go to bed now after all this sh*t. I'll watch a DVD and hopefully I'll fall asleep and it won't happen.

Just had this its pretty cool.

I could only move my eye lids and all I could hear was what I could only describe as white noise. I knew what was happening though so I just shut my eyes and woke up moments later.

Happened to me a couple of times, when it happens to me I cant move or open my eyes and can hear a weird whisper. Only ever lasts about ten seconds or less though so its not that bad.

The only bit that doesn't appeal to me is the sound of Japanese whispering (think of films such as The Grudge) and the shadowy figures. Sounds like a blast otherwise.
