    i read somewhere i forget where that even if sion appeal the decision wont be made till after the first round of europa league matches. i think that leaves an appeal from any side redundant.

    I think if they appeal after losing then they would be looking to win compensation rather than be reinstated into the EL. I'm not sure though.

    I would be very surprised if we get re-instated...maybe its because Celtic hardly ever get the rub of the green, I dunno but just have a feeling...

    However UEFA and FiFA do tend to favour the "bigger" names in European football, so who knows.

    UEFA owe us for the Rapid Vienna fiasco, where we were completely CHEATED. We had a really underrated team then and could easily have won that tournament, those twats got to the final after all.

    Then after that year we had to play our next European home game behind doors, losing 2-1 to Atletico Madrid after we'd done the hard part and got a draw away in the first leg. So it screwed us up for two years.

    Given that, we can easily take this without embarassment, especially as Sion blatantly broke the rules.
