    I dont think we are good enough to be playing and I think we have no way of telling if the outcome would have been different had their signings not been playing.

    But if they broke the rules, of course they shouldnt be there.

    I dont think we are good enough and I dont think we have any chance of qualifying if we do get to play. But of course we should take it! If anything it will mean an extra couple of million.

    I am not sure with the judgement due but to my undertanding there is no legal risk in UEFA chucking Sion out. The point is that the Swiss court decision has no impact on UEFA ruling. If UEFA deem Sion to have broken the rules, they arent allowed to play. In doing so, UEFA hasnt broken any Swiss or international law.

    I was originally against the idea but since speaking to a Hun in work who said we SHOULD go through i have had a rethink and changed my mind.

    Sion cheated. We should have been good enough to beat them, we didnt manage it but they would have been a totally different outfit without the 5 players.

    I hope we get put through and we can get some pride back with some good performances, tough group though!!

    Same, but i think that comes with a lifetime of dealing with the hun loving SFA.

    I really really dont think the PRESIDENT of UEFA would come out and say that Celtic will probably get back in unless he was certain of making it happen. Just wouldnt put his reputation on the line like that

    * me! That's embarrassing. We really should have pumped them at home. I honestly believe they are no better than a lower end SPL team. Same with Maribor. Every player a kid or journeymen.

    See Man U pumped Arsenal 8-2? Could you imagine us, as we are now, in a CL in a group with them, as they are now?

    Barcelona have nothing to fear whatsoever. A central midfield duo of Cleverley and Anderson? They will get beaten even more comprehensively than last season. I am also sorry for going OT :52:

    From what I can see it looks fairly likely that they will get booted out, however, not wanting to be a negative *, but I can't see us getting very far. Udinese and Athletico Madrid are two of the toughest teams in the competition for me, and we were frankly * on Thursday.
    Still, stranger things have happened... going back to being the optimist, who knows what could have happened had we played with 11 men... we will probably benefit from a bit more match sharpness and getting key players who have been injured back to full match fitness... and who remembers the last time we got a bad result in a European qualifier away to a Swiss team..?

    I actually thought this myself to be honest.

    I watched the match and the scary thing is Man Utd weren't even in top gear :88: Arsenal got absolutely TROUNCED. I mean it can be said that injuries & suspensions didn't help but even still they still should have played better than what they did.

    Seeing the results for Maribor and Sion is pretty shocking really. Maybe they were on hangover's from actually winning :icon_mrgreen:
