Man United's debt is * criminal and it hasn't been accumalated by buying outwith there means. The Glazers shafted the club in that regard, there debt is * all to do with football and all to do with business.

United are the best run club in the world, I don't grudge the money they spend. The money they have is off of there own back and there own business model and the shrewdness of possibly the greatest manager ever.

I'm not a fan of United but there business model needs to be recognised and held up as an example to all. It's one that Celtic is currently trying to follow as best we can.

 

I didn't mean to single out City in that post but I meant their league as a whole. It's going to be pretty boring down their for a while with the same 2 teams going for it and they have the cheek to slag us about our 2 horse race.

You have to look at what that debt is for though. The bottom line is United run a very successful business model and any money they spend is money they have made. City do not have a hope in * of ever being able to sustain their spending levels, a la the huns. They do not have a big ground. They do not have a big enough fan base and they do not have worldwide backing.

I'm happy for their fans who were there in the dark days but not the way they have went about their business. It is cheating imo and no clubs, or businesses, should be allowed to operate like this.

 

Correct and I dont like them either. It cannot be argued though that they generate their own success.
