I cant believe their fans never pitch invasioned at the final whistle, you cant get better than coming back from the dead in the last few minutes.

They can afford to through income generated by success. City do it by being someones toy.

Aye was an absolutely great finish to a season. One for the neutrals. I actually screamed when Aguero scored there.

Man Utd were carrying £750m in debt and had to issue bonds to reduce it to around £500m!

How in any way can it that be fair compared to the poorer teams in the league? How can any team compete on a level playing field with that other than being funded by billionaires.

Dont get me wrong, football has gone mental and it isnt nice. But hate the game, not the player. The only chance Man City had to win the league was to spend hundreds of millions because they were challenging Chelsea and Man Utd who had already done just that over the last decade.

Celtic supporters have been crying out for years for Desmond to start investing his own cash in Celtic - or wishing for a millionaire sugar daddy.

I'm jealous of them - and I suspect most over the world are.

They spend money that they generate though, it's not just some guys cash who has decided to use the club as a toy. Chelsea did it, now City have done it. Who next, West Brom, Stoke?

What an ending. Morals etc. aside, no one can claim that wasn't unbelievably exciting.

But then again I really didn't give a * who won it down there so I could enjoy it for the football and nothing else :56:

At least their initial success back in the 90s was by nurturing their young players and not chucking millions at it. It's only taken City around 3 years and a billion quid to do it.

What a climax to the season, outstanding. On a * note though did anyone see Cisse hugging Nasri? I know they are international team mates but I thought it was in very bad taste considering his team just got beat

    Ach rubbish.

Someone posted the two teams that finished the games the other week, and Man United's team had actually had more spent on it than City's. Man U have had shitloads of money for years, that's the only difference. It's only financial doping if you cheat. Man City's investment was only reversing the financial inequality that's been there for years.

I'm really pleased, after Ferguson's customary slimy psychological games, and wheeling in all the old boys brigade like Neville, Hughes etc to pile on the pressure in the media, that they have got well and truly stuffed. By the team that played the football. :50:

Mancini has been exemplary throughout, composed and dignified, and I bet he is just luvvin it now.
