    im not sure on the law regarding Flare's at games but I would expect them to be illegal due to health and safety reasons etc...

    anyway, just after kickoff tonight a Flare was set off in the Celtic end and having never seen one at a game before I thought it was amazing as was the green mist that followed it up. I didnt see but a Swans fan behind me said he saw police confiscate other flares today.

    Opinions on flares?

    I love flairs and smoke bombs. Although they are apparently a legitimate fire hazard.

    Swansea are a *, *, *, little, meaningless club. Obsessed with the OF for some strange reason. Perhaps they wish they had a big rivalry.

    They are absolute class and shouldn't be illegal - providing the people using are fairly responsible and don't try and throw it on the pitch.

    No harm in smoke bombs either, i know people give it 'ohh myy, i was choking!!' etc but put a scarf over your face and it really adds to the atmosphere.

    What a poor post.However, i dont think they are half as obsessed about having a rivalry as the OF are about getting into the Premiership.....Swansea meantime, will have home games against Manu, Liverpool, Manc, Arsenal etc, while we are away to Stmirren and Stjohnstone etc!

    I love the look of chemical flares.

    Howeverrrr - they are * evil *. The residue they give off is highly toxic, highly water-soluble, carcinogenic when it gets into water, linked with thyroid mutation and brain development problems in kids etc etc.

    The fire risk is real, but frankly that's the least of the problems with them - they're an environmental nightmare.
