It's a start, but a lot more needs to be done imo.

 

I suppose this is them balancing the books then, after they arrested a Tim who was posting on a Neil Lennon hate page a few weeks ago. I know it was said at the time, but how did they manage to arrest a Celtic supporter on a page created by hateful Huns?

 

once again i will say what i said when the celtic lad got done for racism:

i hope he gets the book thrown at him.

but there is just as much hatred in and around many cities in glasgow and open sectarianism takes place every week at mordor. so why dont the police turn there attention to arresting these pro active in the flesh biggots instead of keyboared warriors!? thats right because its all for show......

i have been called a * *, spat at etc for my religion and supporting celtic and yet the police would never get involved!

my point is what is happening on the internet is wrong, and if caught then take the punishment deservadly, however there is better places to be fighting this sort of crime! it is once again a dangerous precidentg to set!

Smacks of tokenism. If the forces and authorities were serious in following their threats up their would be wagonloads of internet cowards , bullies and bampots heading towards the courts. With 99% being of the Orc persuasion.

As always in this country though, they like to peddle the myth that one side is as bad as another and this will be the balancing of the books.

Will be gobsmacked if we hear much more on this now.

That's asking a lot. They'll need to open a whole lot of new prisons to store all of those * on the other side of the city.

 

They can start by naming and shaming them. Fines/ community service etc.

People just cant get away with this sort of *. Im not convinced the Government or the Police will follow it through, but you never know.

 

I agree mate, fat chance of it happening though. They'll always be the same, the whole "they're both as bad as each other" schtick. I'm not saying for a second that we don't have any arseholes among our support, but they're far more prominent in the scum's fanbase. After all, they're the ones getting banned from European games for singing sectarian songs and the ones who rarely travel abroad without leaving devastation and destruction behind them.

 

Indeed. A much under-used form of punishment in my opinion. There are plenty of roadsides that need cleaned up, walls that need cleaning & repainting etc. They should also have to attend lessons on how to live alongside others of different religions & races.

Just for kicks I'd also throw in a mandatory family tree session. Once they recoil in horror at finding out they aren't bred from solid Protestant stock they will likely have suffered enough

That would be much more productive than throwing them in jail.

the police and government have been happy to allow this * to continue all the years, it's took a combination of bombs and bullets and uefa to shame the government and police into doing anything
