I think the 'wee ginger one' has bought us probably the most clinical striker we have seen since larsson in the shape of big jan the man!
12 goals in 14 appearances he could well surpass henriks tally at this rate.....
and what even better than that?...i think he'll get better once he gets 100% fit! yeeeeeeees!!:50:

Agreed, I think the big man is doing a good job so far. He's showing us what he's capable of doing. Hopefuly if he can keep fit we can see more and more of him.

I hope the only reason he was injured so much at the start of the season as he wasnt use to scottish football and now that he has adjusted hopefully he will stay fit for a long time

I agree that VOH is a top class striker and is clearly our top forward. Bit early to be talking about him in the same breath as Larsson though.

He is a great striker but wouldn't you just love to have someone like Larsson alongside him. Greedy I know but we can always dream.

SPL is seriously behind in quaity to have JVOH as the best player in there..He was a PSV sub all the time..And the strikers picked ahead weren't exactly prolific..Larsson's world class...I don't consider JVOH even near him in anything.
And isn't he about 28 anyway?

He was 27 at the start of the season when we signed him. Not sure when his birthday is so he might be 28 now. Anyway you would think Celtic should be getting his peak years over the next few seasons. He clearly is a class striker. Not Larsson class but top quality no question. He was not a sub at PSV most of the time.

he was a regular at psv and is a regular in the dutch national squad... we all know larsson was 'the special one' and the memories will last forever but lets move on he is gone now and we have a striker here who is scoring for fun !! so away with the negative points and enjoy!

Maybe it was just all the champions league matches he decided to be a sub in..Either that or he was not fully fit due to injury..He's not a regular in the dutch team unless he refused to play in the world cup too...they only play with 1, or 3, depending on which way you see it.

he's a completely different player to larsson.. the one attribute he shares with the mighty henke. he's clinically composed in front of goal. and if staying fit will score a barroload in the spl. reckon he needs a partner up front and if deeks keeps turning it on it just may be him.
