    Not sure if anyone has any updates but I have friends who were at the game tonight, and the trouble after was meant to be horrendous, here's a few facebook comments below...

    Poles wearing balaclavs just ambushed my cousins pub smashing the windows attacking customers who had to try and fend them off with bar stools.

    Aye just heard a grandfather was getting his head kicked in whilst his grandson was holding on to his hand, shocking. Hope they all get the jail.

    Polish fans * and * everywhere in the streets, starting on innocent families.

    Apparently only 600 of them at the game but over 1000 in the city, clearly here to cause trouble.

    Just heard someone has been stabbed, * can this get much worse.





    I've just heard that all pubs in Dundee have been advised to close, don't think the police here have enough numbers to cope with this but this is really awful :54:

    I remember my dad telling me at one of the friendly games in Ploand (think it was the Legia Warsaw game), a big. baldy Polish dude was getting searched by the police at the gates at the stadium - and was carrying a big bag of machetes, blades etc:87:

    Looks like the have a heavy hooligan problem....

    They have been here since early this morning, they were throwing bangers at cars, setting off flares in the city centre and causing fights and trying to square up to innocent people.

    This kind of thing sickens me, because it's not about the football at all

    Is there any Scottish news at this time of night?

    We've had stuff in the local paper today, because the trouble started last night up the Hilltown, about 70 skinheads went up challenging people to fight. It's carried on from this morning when more arrived at the train station.

    I think United made the mistake of opening the cash turnstiles tonight though becuse it was originally all ticket.

    Exactly, your just inviting all kinds in for something like that.

    Problem is Tannadice is never full and they have obviously done that in the hope that more seats would be taken. But it had to be decided today that riot police would have to be drafted in for the game, just shocking.
