My work are hiring Customer service advisors right now. Its in the Bishopbriggs area but you get free travel on first bus from town if you are going to work. I think it starts at around £16k. If you are interested let me know and I can give you more information.

Excellent idea to have this thread:50:

I'm currently a Support Worker and would rather stay in the same care sector but move into an office type position in Glasgow. I have an Hons degree in something unrelated to what I want to do but I'm willing to work towards necessary qualifications.

Ideally I'd like to work for a charity or with homeless people. I have an up to date C.V. and can attend interviews any time.

ANY recommendations, advice, jobs ANYTHING: let me know:icon_mrgreen:

Currently working 15 hours a week which is killing me.

What line of work is this?

Manpower. Check their site. I worked under them twice for the same company (BT on Bothwell St, Glasgow) and the rates were good and 36 hours a week or PT were available. Call centre work but it's good enough.

0141 248 2926. Just ring and ask for vacancies.
