nah mate i was down in blackburn when there casuals were waiting outside the pub & when we left they started all that "come ahead * *" *.. me & my wee mate charged the auld bald fat * alone & got a few digs in & they bolted..
i think some of our support might need to toughen up a bit but i still like to think we wont cause it or dress up in stone island burberry etc & use phrases like "tasty" "jog on" & "scarfers" & all this pish that has came along since football factory! lot of * if you ask me & im proud our club is not known for it & hopefully never will be!

Teams casuals have nothing to do with the football. They dont dress in football colours or go to the games, they just go to where the games are played and look for a fight with rival casuals, if there are none they try to antagonise pubs of even their own supporters.

My cousins a hun and was at tynecastle last season and him and the dozen or so people he goes to the games with ended up fighting with the hun casuals outside a pub because they told them to get to * :56:

Can remember this mob (Celtic Soccer Crew) from back in the late eighties/early nineties and the reason they never really came to much was the fact the average Celtic supporter never embraced them, in-fact can remember a few occasions (Cappielow, Love St and Easter Road) not to mention Celtic Park when the supporters turned on them and sent them packing. The last thing we need is the media picking up on a group of supporters/casuals associated to Celtic turning up and causing trouble and it will be all over the front pages. Leave that to the huns or we are no better.

If it's not your cup of tea (it's not mine either btw) then fair enough but if that's what lads want to do then that's up to them. If that's what they enjoy doing with other people who have the same idea of fun then thats fine, doesnt affect you or me. These guys don't exactly wait outside the ground looking for a fight, everything happens away from the actual game so unless you go looking for it the chances are you will never know of anything when it happens. Also, at away games etc where the other team are wanting a go at our support, who do you think takes the brunt of it as opposed to normal "scarfers".

Really could not care what the media have to say and it's not even worth worrying about. They will print/report misguided stories about our club/support anyway. BBC at the Cup Final...............................

    Agree 100%

I lived in London in the thick of the casual scene in the 80s/90s went to many games, Arsenal-Spurs in particular was nasty but in truth about 95% of people in they scenes had never thrown a a punch and were off the minute they saw bother, I saw it many times, plenty of shouting in their expensive gear, giving it with the hands but when a confrontation looked possible they were off, in the 90s it appeared to be regarded as cool to be Police escorted to a ground in a group of several hundred as you could shout what you want and give it the bravado behind the police lines and look big in front of your mates then post on the internet how you "took the *", I saw Chelsea and Spurs in particular do this many times and thought they were the big men when in truth they were utter bawbags!

Millwall are another thing, real nasty folk follow them, its a real working class area and the club seems to be their outlet for their frustration, Millwall have genuine mad people in their ranks, guys who would stand and fight 30 on their own, in some cases more than 40 years old, right screwballs.

I cant help thinking this whole thing seems dated now and things have moved on, whats happening at Celtic Park with the Green Brigade is a positive development and much better than this casual scene which in truth was always polluted by * north and south of the border!

Exactly, most "casuals" spend more time on their clobber and pavement dancing than they do fighting. Not my cup of tea but if that's theirs then who am i to judge them.

Poor journalism doesn't give supporters a licence to behave like animals. These people are an embarassment. Idiots who have watched too many Nick Love films and think the rest of us will be impressed by their gear (wouldn't wear any of it) and their cardboard gangster image. Nevermind what the papers print, I and my fellow peaceful supporters know they exist and that is enough to merit these people being ostracised by real Celtic fans...or shot. Scum be scum.

Hope not. If people want to get together in sizable groups and knock the crap out of each other, fair enough - it takes all sorts and if that's what floats your boat then good luck to you, especially if it's just fistycuffs! But please not under Celtics name - with the hun media the way they are, the club don't need the negative press!

    Pack a dicks,

I remember these toss pots trying to throw their weight about in the early 80s.
They were despised by the Celtic fans and I would say they took more hidings from Celtic fans than they did from other so called firms.

To say that as long as innocent people don't get caught up in it is the biggest load of bollox.
I have seen women and kids getting hurt, even prams being upturned in a train station when the pack of diseased toss pots are swinging their wee air fix stanley knives at each other and playing catch me if you can.

If anybody wants to act like an English yob then * off down to England and support Millwall,Chelsea or wherever else that breeds the low life cowardly retards.

Celtic park and real Celtic fans want * all to do with you, :shamrock:
