Never saw the boy play but from clips he just looks a baw greedy wee * anyway. Tony Watt is a better player for me than this boy will be from what I've saw.

Anyone actually think he'll make it there ? me neither.

Some of they comments are a disgrace aswell.

Some of those comments are awful. No doubt just some of the laptop loyal who just cling to the Celtic name.

Don't know what time this came out but was talking to a family member of Josh McEachran this morning who mentioned the possibility of him coming to us on loan!

Mate is gutted 1 that he chose Engerland over Scotland and 2 if this comes off he won't be able to go into his local Hun pub!:icon_mrgreen:

The guy has made his decision, in my eyes it is the wrong one. However he is 16 and no doubt was heavily influenced by agent and family. No need to abuse the guy, particular racist abuse.

Don't agree with any of the abuse this guy is taking

Having said that wouldn't bother me in the slightest to see his career go down the *.. which it almost inevitably will.

Tbh, would be far more gutted if we lost Keatings, Watt or spence as they look better prospects so far anyway

I really couldn't care one iota for the young guy.

Think his attitude is despicible & goes against everything Celtic stand for.

Glad to see him go TBH.

I can't see him getting many Scotland caps - probably pull out of every squad as we're not up to his meteoric standard.

He seemed to be held in high regard, so I'm incredibly disappointed he didn't continue his development at Celtic.

The club did a lot for him and his family, so it does feel like a bit of a slap in the face for him to walk out without kicking a ball for us.

Anyway, I hope Celtic are properly compensated.

thats not the kind of comment i want to see from anyone, let alone a fellow celtic fan. have a word with yourself mate even if you meant it as a "joke" :38:

at the end of the day the boy is a 16 year old being offered a mega bucks deal at a glamorous london club. im not so sure id even say no to that at his age and im just as much of a celtic fan as yourself or anyone else getting on his back. career wise i dont think its anywhere near the right move for him but * see that himself as time goes by :50:

Islam Feruz has been indulged by Celtic, sent off twice in his final 3 matches.

We get a compensation fee plus a percentage of a future transfer.(Clyde 1)

So much that I've heard about the guy and his attitude has pointed to him being a total wee *: this just confirms it.

I'm not bothered about any percentage of a future transfer fee - if his career goes down the * now that seems poetic justice.

It's all very well blaming agents, but at the end of the day their job is to present their client with the most lucrative deal possible. The moral responsibility for the decision rests with him and his family - and they've shown themselves up for what they are.

I wonder if he ever considers that niether he nor his mother would even still be in this country if it wasn't for Tommy Burns. If he does, it looks like it doesn't mean that much to him.

quite obvious that his agent convinced him on the move and by all accounts got himself a very nice fee from chelsea. And it was tapping up since beside the dubious agent fee Feruz missed training to negoitate with chelsea without permission from Celtic while still under contract at Celtic, Lennon himself said in an interview that they hadnt seen feruz in weeks, and his teammates on the U-19 team said he showed up when he wanted to

You have to fully understand his background and the conditions in which this young lad was brought up in during the first ten or twelve years of his life, before we start making judgements on him as a money-grabber.

As always it's the football agents that are to blame for turning the young lads head, it is them who try to put such deals together regardless of contracts in place. I think that FIFA and UEFA should come down harder on these agents if they are found guilty of attempting to broker deals for players who are still under contracts at clubs.

No doubt he will end up playing in the English lower leauges instead of staying with us and learning his trade . Its all down to agents filling players heads with * .
