what bothers me is that loovens and other fringe players are still there and celtic should be targeting a goalkeeper and another striker and would like the board to give neil the money for just these two postions .

Stokes is cover at best. Nobody will be able to convince me otherwise.

Harsh on Majstorovic? Lol, he's one of the poorest footballers I've witnessed playing for the Hoops. Kicks the ball the way he's facing and Mulgrew was murder at LB as was Ledley. OK, we might get away with it at home against St Mirren for example but the top 6 teams took points off us last season at home because our lack of cover. Since then, we have hardly brought in any better players bar Commons and hopefully Wilson.

I'm not writing players off but we shouldn't be relying on them either although Lennon obviously knows Wilson well. It's a bonus if the other guy proves to be a good signing. So many have come and gone in the last few seasons such as Misuno, McGinn, Sno, Hutchinson etc.

Cost less than £1 million, second top goal scorer (only a few behind hoops), set up loads of goals including about half of hoops, still young (22? 23?), got us a pen that could have won the league yet people still complain.

You'll never change your opinion of him, even if he scores 30 goals this season with 5 against the huns. What we need is cover for him not the other way around.

As for the game I hope Hibs have kept last seasons form and its an easy win, never know with Hibs though.

I think that we can beat Hibs easily. I'm confident that Zaluska can do a good job until we sign new GK. Many people criticize him because of his last year faults in Europe, but people must realize that he was under a lot pressure because he was chosen to replace Boruc, who is a top GK. I hope that board will finally give some decent amount of money to Lenny so he can buy a GK and a striker(target man).

    My team:
    Zaluska
M.Wilson Majstorovic K.Wilson Matthews(if Izzy is still injured)
    Brown Kayal Ledley Commons
    Hooper Stokes

Stokes was our top scorer for most of last season, I'm pretty confident he could have kept up that form and finished top scorer were if not for him being dropped after a bust up with Lenny towards the end. If memory serves me correctly, it was only Hooper's goal on the final day which took him above Stokes. Stokes proved himself previously for Falkirk and Hibs, I see no reason why it should be different here.

How can you make that judgement? I have a lot of faith in Wanyama. We were all thinking similar things when we brought in Izzy and Kayal last season, and they proved to be the two best players in Scotland. Lenny and the scouting team clearly have a good eye for young gems and I fully expect Wanyama to be the same.

I reckon it will be a leg weary, tired display against a side that will want to beat us.

As long as we get the 3 points we're jamming, the goalkeeper and striking cover can follow.

Holy *! I thought that was a misprint at first. Really only 10 days! That is thoroughly disconcerting. I'm betting we've got Pletikosa on the books by then... or I'm hoping anyway. Be interesting to see who plays the Cardiff game.

Hibs are always tough to beat at Easter Road. I am going for a slender single goal victory for us.

    Brooney Kayal Ledley Commons
