    Only 10 days away,

I have got a few questions

are we confident going into this match still without a no. 1?
    Is this match on TV?
Can we or cant we sing BOTOB at matches anymore?

    Thanks

Have every bit of faith with Lennon's decision.

Happy for Zaluska to start, what i do worry about, is if Zaluska picks up and injury or a red card.

    my team, assuming everyone's fit.

    Zaluska

    M.Wilson Majstorovic Mulgrew Izaguirre

    Brooney Kayal Ledley Commons

    Hooper Stokes

Haven't put any of the new signings in at the start, as i don't know how good they are, and i'm happy to keep this team, and start kelvin wilson or wanyama at home to dundee united..think hibs and aberdeen away are two tough games we need SPL experience for.

As for BOTOB,i will be singing it and so will the other 4000 fenians in easter road., whether i'm allowed or not, the queen paid her respects to the IRA, so no one will stop me from doing it.

We will have Pletikosa in, might just be too early for him forthe Hibs game but Zaluska is more than capable

I'm actually nervous about this one, Hibs will be a much changed team from last season. Don't know what to expect of them or if they will even have the same manager.

So do you think we are gonna sign Pletikosa? Personally I think he is a great keeper and would much rather him over Zaluska. But the way Lenny is talking its as if he has sen a great improvement in Zaluska over the last year... either that or just trying to keep the Celtic faitful from panicing

It's an absolute joke that we haven't signed any first team type players before the season kicks off. Let's hope the points we drop until we do don't cost us the League.

The defence is still needing fixed for me although I don't know anything about Wilson as yet. On top of the that, the obvious positions which speak for themselves are Goal Keeper and Striker.

Hibs are still a poor side so I'm expecting a comfortable win, 2-0 Celtic

    is Izaguirre not still injured?

So even though you don't know anything about Wilson, Matthews or Wanyama you are dismissing them as not first team players?

Are you worried about the strikers just now? I'll be perfectly happy with Hooper and Stokes until the pitches start getting heavy. Up until winter they'll do me fine, so plenty of time for another striker to come in.

Zulaska is the only area of concern and he is perfectly capable of handling being the keeper for a few games if need be. That's why he's the deuputy because he is a good back up. Lets just hope he's sorted out his head for it this time, last year it was too big a step up. This year he is settled.

I think it is to make sure they have time at the end of the season to fit in any games lost to the weather in the winter

Put it this way. I know Loovens, Majstorovic, O'Dea and Hooiveld are not good eough to play beside Wilson. Rogne is still a prospect but I'd be happy enough to try Mulgrew there again for a spell. I'd much rather sign a really good Centre Half though. If Izaguirre gets injured we've no cover either and he does pick up injuries from time to time.

Yes, I'm worried about the strikers. I don't rate any of them enough to do the business in the Europa League or against Rangers, Hearts etc bar Hooper. In saying that, hopefully we'll be going one up front against, packing the midfield in these away games.

This season should be the 'boards' final chance to win the League. If they don't, they should all walk.

A match thread already? Great stuff. Have really missed match discussion in pre-season.
Assuming we don't sign anyone else (though I really think we need a new keeper):
    Zaluska
    Wilson Maj Mulgrew Izzy
    Brown Kayal Ledley Commons
    Stokes Hooper.
Not 100% sure about the CBs as I really know nothing about Wilson or Wanyama, but I guess any two from those 4 would be acceptable if what I've heard about the new guys is true.
    3-0 Celtic. Hooper (2) & Stokes.

No worries about Hibs theyre pish. The manager will be back before the weekend and I'm sure Lawell will have been busy in his absence getting the players that Lenny wants and we will have them on board by next week

Stokes has scored 3 or 4 against Rangers for clubs not as good as us. He is certainly good enough to play against them. Hearts? We gave them several skelpings this year.

Very harsh on Majstorivic and you are dismissing Charlie Mulgrew at left back for cover, Joe Ledley can easily play there as well not to mention Adam Matthews has played there before.

I'd much rather we signed Lionel Messi but we all know our boundaries these days, established 'really good' CB's cost a lot of money. For all we know we've just got two in Wilson and Wanyama. Writing them off without having seen them play and actual competitive game is just wrong.
