Just read online on daily record that shaun is going to aston villa anyone heard if this is confirmed ?

Even if Maloney does stay which i hope he does not he will have a lot of work to do to win over the fans again as all celtic fans now know we have a greedy wee * on board

He was a good player that lost his commitment to the club over the course of this season, you loose that, you are worthless to the team. He's now dead weight.

 

he did lose his commitment like others at the club in years past celtic fans dont like to see that, actually any fans its not good to see a player at the club who has no heart for who hes playing for!!

 

Aye he's done well for us, but the club have done a lot of good for him, particularly standing by him when he's been crocked, and going all out to keep him at Celtic. A wee bit of loyalty these days wouldnae go amiss.

Anyway, good luck to him. I'm sure he'll do well doon South, and I hope the extra 4 grand a week will stave away the despairing poverty he had to endure during his Celtic tenure.

 

When i first heard Maloney may be on the move i was shattered. When i took the time to actually think it through calmly i realised we have enough cover for him. Naka has a more deadly free-kick in my opinion. Riordan is more direct and more deadly in the goal-scoring dept. Maloney seems disenchanted with his lot at Celtic....So he is better off going to Villa or elsewhere. I always hate to see a good player leave but on this occasion i feel we have more than adequate cover.
