I can only talk for myself here but i am disgusted with some of our own slagging off players who give it all for the cause!.
As i have previously stated in another thread kenny miller has come in for alot of stick recently...yes he has been underachieving as a striker in the goalscoring stakes however his workrate 'for the team' has been 1st class and as far as i am concerned any player who gives 100% every game 'contributing' to the 'success' of the tic is what i thrive on!.
The guy hasnt been prolific as he should be but its a confidence thing and i am positive it will come good...but some folk have come as far as saying the guy has no talent??...f.f.s u dont become a pro footballer by luck!
the guy has played 29 internationals (the highest level in football) and has scored 9 goals,if this is sh*te the england are in deep fkn sh*t! rooney 34 games 11 goals defoe 21 games 3 goals?? but our 'untalented?' kenny has scored against (world champs)Italy, germany, norway, switzerland to name a few!!
**he scored the winning goal against Copenhagen=3 points**
**he scored 2 against Benfica =3points**
therefore in my eyes as a STRIKER his GOALS have helped our 'team' into the last 16 of the champions league by being a 'striker he has been more prolific in the CL than other 'world class'goalscorers such as -RONALDINHO,ROONEY,SHEVCHENKO,HENRY,RAUL,RONALDO,INZAGHI check out the facts they dont lie!
so on that note i would like to say something a little controversial here.. after following our team home and away during the 'dark days' in the late 80s and the 90s it broke my heart watching the hurt on such celtic legends as paul mcstay faces as the 'biscuit tin' crooks stole the heart out of celtic our club and invested in REAL poor quality players to compete against mordors millions...
Through those depressing times i learned one thing and that is appreciate success as it should never ever be expected! but through thick and thin ..no matter how bad things could be ,support your team through and through'as we are celtic supporters!'
IF all you can do is sit and be negative ALL the time about individuals such as miller, telfer remember one thing this is a team game and all players must perform to create an overall success as we are experiencing at the moment ,remember telfers clearance off the line against hearts or millers goals in the CL and his one against rangers to kill off the game..
f*ck the little mistakes these will always happen they are human, remember those match turning points instead!..if you cant then i will say that if you like me are a season ticket holder at cp then you are probably one of the 'mump and groan' brigade who have created probably the worst atmosphere at celtic park that i have seen in a long time!! :54:
:50: get a grip and enjoy the success and have a party!if not think about the world renowned atmosphere that you are destroying!

internation form is different from club as club is weekly and has a smaller build up and less time to prepare.

But as long as I know if miller doesn't improve he can go

absolutely bang on mate....ive said my piece maybe some folks will pause and have a little think about it...but hey as ive said thats only my opinion..but it f**kin pains me to say that there is probably a better atmosphere at castle greyskull at the moment and i think alot is to do with this!and i never in a million years thought i would EVER say that...some people are asking what songs the p.a. at cp should play to improve the atmosphere...
well heres a idea....why not be happy and have a fkn party week in and out!
REMEMBER WE ARE THE GREATEST SUPPORTERS IN THE WORLD EVERY WEEK SHOULD BE A 'SEVILLE PARTY'! BEACH BAWS N ALL!:86:

Thank you mate I was really starting to get * off with the amount of jokes etc made on here about Kenny Miller. Yes maybe he isn't playing well but at the end of the day he is still a Celtic Player and come to think of it he's doing better than most on here who can genuenly put up their hand and say I play for Glasgow Celtic? Im sure many of us would dream of pulling on the shirt and Kenny Miller has done it which is more than anyone here has done. Get off his back he's a Celtic Player and dosen't matter about this Ex-Hun * it dosen't make it any less of a player. Wise Up!!

If we win the Champion's League this year...counting the six CL points he's already won us...he ( Miller ) will have been the most instrumental player of them all :56::56::56:

From an objective point of view our strikers, and especially miller miss too many sitters and score not enough. his stats do the talking.

however ppl praised him from the very first day like no one before. why does he deserve more praise than any other guy?

I'm a celtic, not a kenny miller supporter. I don't dislike or even boo him, but I'd like to see two other strikers starting a game. I don't give a * if you gonna call me a hun or a bad celtic supporter, because I think I gave some valid and objective points in other threads, which has been unanswered.

Miller gives 100% every game and Imo I would rather a player who will give 100% to the team and dosen't nessicarily play well than a player who will walk about the park 90% of the game and get granted a goal or whatever Miller work-rate is exceptional. Im not trying to say i'm happy with his preformances I expect more but this dosen't mean we go and sleg the boy off.

    I concur :50:
Miller is a 100 per cent effort Tic player, and his work ethic is second to none...Zurawaski couldn't hold a candle to him..
Put him back in with JVOH, and I am certain he will hit the goal trail again too..:shamrock:

Exactly, I'm in it for the team. Kenny Miller can do a good job in a defensive 451 formation where the striker is meant to chase lost causes and hold the ball up to set up the midfielders rushing in. I'm not saying he's not a decent footballer but he's like McFadden, no-one knows where he's a good player.

I believe Kenny is a great player, and i think the stats show he has set up the most goals this season.

yep. worst cp atmos in recent years. for two reasons.. the football is bland and we r so far in front its boring. next season there'll be a better challenge, more pressure, playing 100% balls to the wall. we are on auto pilot at the moment. imo. the balance aint right between flair and journeymen. too many non flairplayers. too many players not fit to wear the hoops. only gettin away wi it cos the opposition is rank rotten.
