I know what your getting at Connor but Lennon played a 442 set up. Commons was an attacking midfielder but a midfielder nonetheless. The set up allowed Brown to attack as often as possible also.

Faddy could fit into any set up we played, very adaptable player and has a lot of quality. Fans seem concerned about how he would fit into current set up. I am more concerned about getting quality into the squad overall, which McFadden would give us. No doubt at all.

 

Not a good enough reason to play for Celtic. You could say that about 90% of the Celtic support.

As for McFadden, maybe two or three years ago,but not now. Thanks but no thanks.

 

Think he'd be a great addition to our team.

I would take James McFadden but I have a hunch that if he is playing SPL football this season it will be in a blue shirt.

for me he would be similar in the stokes mould of a prolific scorer against the 'smaller' teams, however i'd be kidding if i said this was the striker i wanted at the start of the window

dont think hes hit double figures in a season for Birmingham or Everton.

 

Defo worth a shout (trial?) although having no club will naturally raise doubts about his ability. People seem to forget he was Scotland's main attacking threat a few years back and people were raving about him, rating him at £5 million + and wishing he would sign for us. He's 28 and we could get something out of him.

what a load of dogs bollocks, we will end up with 6 players for the same position, and no way is faddy any good at all, if we get him we will be playing with 9 men and shelling out money for 3-4 years, and MC court who i feel has more ability will be further down the line, i would rather bust the bank for one year with Bellamy cheaper in the long run and been able to win the league this year and then keep my ears to the ground, and looking at a load of videos for strikers, mean time strike when the iron is hot, go for bellamy. but it will be a failed exercise should we take the * faddy, the Scotland darling. have the scouts got tunnel vision
