The championship is a much better league than the SPL.. Other than Celtic or Rangers, no SPL team would make it into the play offs, guarenteed.

Seen him play for the north, wouldn't be near the potential of Sheridan or O'Brien in my book.

Boy looks solid, i'd be happy to take him on board. Your right about the Lennon thing tho, sad as it sounds it could be a stumbling block.

Mind you, i don't think you'd see anything wrong with that Ruthless Scot would you? What kind of post is that? I can't believe anyone is that stupid :fear:

I'd have welcomed anyone to replace Mo Camara at left back! Naylor had been playing for Wolves in the EPL, this kid appears to have only played 15 or so times in his career. Why spend money on someone who is not goingto get a game for us? Naylor was bought to go straight in the team. I'd rather see Beattie get a proper run in the team.

It dozen't matter a toss if he used to support the Huns....Jock Stein was a Freemason, and look what he done for us..:56:

This boy Lafferty has great potential, and would be the ideal replacment for Jan, if he gets injured again, and at £ 500,000, he would be a snip..

Wee Gordon knows his business, and he is determined we gub AC Milan, and we get into the last 8 of the Champion's League..:50::50:

    * works in mysterious ways....Stokes didn't want us...I reckon Lafferty
    does..

    Bring him on :celt_2::shamrock::celt_2:

I will be gutted if we sell him for £500k.

He has bags of potential and has the makings of a very good all round striker. He's reasonably quick and covers a lot ground chasing down defenders. To use a cliche he's got a good touch for a big man. One of the reasons he hasn't started much for Burnley is partly down to the fact he has yet to mature physically and Steve Cotterill doesn't want to put to much pressure on him.

Personally I'll be dissapointed if he leaves for less than a million though I'd be tempted to hold out for £2m.

How much championship football do you get to watch out in Ireland? I would put my testicles on it that Hearts & Hibs would be fortunate to make the play offs.. No way would they win the league.

no team in england would fancy going 2 edinburugh in that hostile atmosphere FACT..they both particulary hearts would have a great home record for a start...and in the championship a great home record is half the battle lol

Birmingham, Derby, Southampton, West Brom, Preston are all better IMO.. Wolves, Stoke, Cardiff City, Leeds (When they want) and Leicester are all on par with them IMO.. Just look at Kisnorbo, used to be a class act at Hearts, rejects a new contract at them to go and play for Leicester.

I know we need another striker and we still have to thrifty but is this guy really a solution? Would anyone else break the bank for Robbie Keane? Also, does anyone have any news about Brown n Thompson?

yes imo we NEED a back up target man...all the other strikers apart from jvoh are too similar plus he wouldnt be throwing the dummie out of the pram for not getting a game for a while being 19..
4-5 million should get robbie now imo...
the terrible twins are getting boring now:48: they would wanna start playing well 2 justify their big hype..no news on them btw

Look Wee Gordon is trying to make Celtic a younger, fitter and faster team..

Signing Keane would be a backward step for us...

Brown and Thompson are definitely coming...I heard it on the Grapevine...

They would both be great assets to us for years to come

WGS has run out of patience with both Miller and Zurawaski...

He now knows they are both = Pish

Big Kyle Lafferty looks a terrific prospect to me IMO...would love to see him here in the green and white hoops..

" Faith of our Fathers "....
