    Looked composed on the ball, which is good.

    But not quite sure why some folk are getting so worked up about a guy who is essentially going to be a 2nd-string CB.

    To be fair to Wanyama, the game was over when he came on. He looked solid, but had little to do. Just sat in the middle and eased himself through the game. Cardiff offered very little tonight. Will need a tougher match to gauge him and the keeper, who hardly touched the ball. One easy save from distant and a couple of pass backs.

    Not going to get excited about Wanyama yet, Ledley and Kayal for Centre Midfield slots still. Good to see him play though

    And who would be left out in the 5 man midfield? Commons? Stokes? Hooper? All 3 looked exceptional tonight. Seems a little negative just to accomodate.

    Im pretty sure he will be back up to the midfielders for now, and possibly CB's. He is young, he doesnt need to go straight in.

    Not in our team though. Lennon says he is going to be a CB for us. :icon_mrgreen:

    Stokes would be left out. I am talking about us playing in europe or against the huns. At this moment he will not replace any of our first team. If he is to be played as a centre back he will eventually work his way in along side K.Wilson. Otherwise he will be back up for Kayal and then play when we need to strengthen the midfield
