    imagine if we signed this guy and Bellamy and have Amini on the fringes of the first team. that would be an outstanding bit of business. all we'd need is 8 or 9 players out the door and a centre back and keeper and we're done.

    Daily Record this morning says we're keeping tabs on him.

    hey, a Bhoy can dream.

    with us signing Damari as has been quoted in a lot of sources, i think Samaras holds the key for us signing another forward. if he goes, we'll sign another, if not, we're stuck with him for next season.

    i think that Stokes still has a place at the club and it confuses me why some fans want him out the door. i say Samaras is the key as he is on the highest wage and has the higher transfer value. Murphy and Rasmussen will be gone come September and if Murphy stays he'll be 5th choice and be happy with it. personally i don't mind as long as he isn't on a big wage. he has proved his worth when we were in dire need for a striker eg when Samaras and Stokes were suspended. i know some fans don't see the point in him here but i can understand why Lennon bought him in. it was so we didn't experience the same scenario we faced with our centre back shortages at Christmas with our strikers.

    every club should have 4 strikers but will probably use 5 in a season. if Murphy is happy to be 5th choice and isn't on a big wage, i don't see the problem.

    Samaras is on too big a wage to do this and for me isn't a good enough striker for 3rd or 4th choice. show him the door and we'll get a few million as well as saving on his wages. him alone would cover Wanyama, Damari and potentially Musona's wages and go along way for covering their transfer fees.

    I agree with Big Murphy, he isn't as bad as people make out. However he still isn't good enough. I would be happy with him here for 5th choice.

    I agree with you, but we signed Samaras up until 2014. I doubt Lenny will just change his mind and punt him now.

    i know, i know. the only thing logical supporting my view is that we singed Petrov to a contract then sold him to Villa.

    i pray every day that Samaras leaves.
