No youd be wrong there mate.. the East End is more huns ..in fact with Bridgeton, Dennistoun & yes Parkhead too being quite hun areas .. with Calton & Garngad (though thats more North than East) being tim areas.. Southside id say is more tims too & the rest of Glasgow is mixed ..

So ultimately id say Glasgow is roughly 50:50

    Scotland is more Rang*rs

    Worldwide its more Celtic.

Though dont be fooled into thinking everyone here in Ireland are Celtic fans.. this place is full of EPL glory hunters...Sickens me sometimes the * they say about the Celtic :38:

Celtic fans definitely have more worldwide fans actually. It was estimated that Celtic have approximately 9 million fans worldwide.

One thing I do remember is that OF fans used to be rare in the three east coast cities. It was only in the late 80s that glory hunters started to support Rangers and I think something similar happened in terms of Celtic once we started to improve in the mid 90s. Part of it too was the decline of the 'new firm'. It is a fact of football life that numbers of fans really does go up and down depending on how the team is doing.

When I came up to Glasgow back in March I was surprised by how many hun tops I saw in the Parkhead area. Always thought it was a tim stronghold for obvious reasons! Also I never realised how close Bridgeton is to Celtic Park made me sick to see all those pubs draped in the dirty Union Flag so close to Paradise!

In my experience there are more Huns than Tims in Glasgow but that's based on my handful of visits to the city so I'm not really qualified to judge! We have more fans worldwide and here in Wales so that's all that counts :)

The large majority of Huns live in Scotland, which is why I'd say that they probably do have more support in Glasgow than we do. As mentioned already, we are streets ahead of them in terms of worldwide support. Celtic are famous all over the world, with supporters clubs in places like Japan, America and loads of other foreign countries.

Without being biased, I don't believe that Rangers have a strong worldwide support at all. I'd say it stretches from Scotland to the rest of Britain and no further than that.

    tnx for your answers...

here in croatia i never saw rangers top in my life... celtic tops i see very often... not only tops, school bags (backpacks), ''warp up'' jackets or pants... well if you go to football store you can find: celtic, arsenal, united, barca, inter, juve (nike) bayern, milan, liverpool, chelsea and real madrid (adidas) merchandise... and i can say that celtic is very popular here...

Good to hear. I'm always reading and hearing folk saying that there is hardly ever Rangers merchandise sold abroad, but wherever you go, there always seems to be something Celtic :50:

Probably more huns in Scotland than Tims, everywhere you go in Scotland, especially down south, it's riddled with huns.

Not sure about Glasgow, would never be able to tell.

only one fifth of scotland is catholic but glasgow imo (and i could be worng) is probably 60 percent hunish with the greater glasgow area i.e.lanarkshire, renfrewshire, dumbartonshire, iverclyde i would say celtic probably have a slight majority.

Hahahaha, Duke St isn't that bad whatsoever for wearing a Celtic top, except if you're heading to haghill past the loudoun. Dennistoun aswell, its absolutely fine round the vast majority of those parts.

from parkhead glasgow but now live in merseyside
in glasgow i wouls say it's around 50/50

when i was growing up i was from parkhead and there where loads of huns who lived across from london road school, the white part where it's all knocked down but i hung around bridgeton, and in the white scheme arcoss from london road cop shop alot of tims lived there, but so did that scummy * jason campbell

but a group of us where mostly tims had no problems really only if we where on our own and walked into the toll (bridgeton cross) late at night with the pubs coming out you would get the older guys trying to do somthing

they are just animals, but don't get me wrong our fans are not angels, but we don't do anything like them scummy * would do

100% more Huns in Scotland mate.

I'd say there's slightly more of us than Huns in Glasgow, just a guess though.
