Although Neil Lennon did a good job improving the team after replacing Mowbray, i still feel that Celtic are wasting Mc Court's talents by leaving him on the bench. In the League Cup final, for example, he only got on with a few minutes to go and if anyone was likely to change the game it was him.
I know there are all the arguments about his fitness etc but in my opinion, he needs more of a run to prove himself. Hope Lennon sees this too and gives him more of a chance this season...:31:

In the games he started he was turning in MOTM performances and scoring winners.

I think sometimes, mainly at Parkhead, you have to find a place for him. Lennon clearly knows what the guy is capable of.

I love the man, and definitely want to keep him. I don't think he's going to be a first team player in all honesty, but in the SPL he can definitely be a good sub.

The thing with Paddy is people expect a wonder goal every match, he's not going to do it every time, even Messi doesn't but his goals are usually worth waiting for when they do come and i agree that if he's coming on, he needs to get on earlier, 10/15 mins is no good

    * look its da Derry Pele Wowza!!!

Over-rated, not good enough in a million years, decent squad player but that's it, decent bid and I'd shift him.

Never a starter ...you are guaranteed to sub him if he starts ....waste of a tactical sub if you ask me ...Would keep him to start on the bench however wouldnt be bothered if he went to another team

Of course, if he did go to a team like Motherwell, it would only be a matter of time before he shredded the Celtic defence and scored a speccy goal!!

I find him quite frustrating, actually.
He often runs in the hope that someone will bring him down for a penalty instead of shooting (still miffed)
Agree with what has been said previously - not good enough and over rated.
He started a few games in a row and was a complete passenger.

The criticism that is levelled at Paddy could be directed at any one of the first team on any given day but won't be as nobody expects them to do the things he does. I think Mc Geady was a lot more overrated and had less control of the ball to boot.

I rate Paddy McCourt but I think that he will struggle for a starting place simply because we need to win every game and he isn't the best for games when we need to grind out a win. I would never get rid of him though love it when he scores a wonder goal.

The thing about Paddy McCourt is that he relies purely on skill and if he tries something and it comes off then terrific but if it doesn't then it puts the whole team on the backfoot and jeopardises the team.Paddy is neither disciplined enough nor has enough quality to justify a regular start in the team and I think it would be for the best if he goes to a team like Blackpool or a similar team that will allow his natural talent to flourish, but perhaps without the added pressure that life at one of the big 2 in Glasgow puts on him.

Paddy had a spell at the start of the season and then a little towards Xmas where he was sensational. He isnt able to keep this consistently though or he would be at Barca.

Wonderfully gifted player who seems better as an impact player. Seems to lack fitness and perhaps picks up injuries a little easy. I dont think Lennon will offload him as he genuinely gives us a different option either by starting or coming on as a sub.

Motherwell?? Not a chance in my opinion.

Over rated by so many. People say 'you cant expect him to score a wonder goal every game', i dont, i just want him to be a team player and pass the ball rather than look for his wonder goals every game! I hate greedy players with a passion and dont think he contributes enough.

To put the myth to the test i would loan him out to an SPL side so he is playing every week and that gives us a chance to watch him every week and see how he does.
