    The only way I'd take him back is if he agreed to be on £10,000 a week and that we dont spend anymore than £2 million on him. Fist of all its a non-starter. But if he did come back he'd know he has a lot to make up for, and knowing Stans character that would mean big performances on the pitch.

    Stan wasna good player but I fail to see what we can do?

    He doesn't have the drive to play in the SPL appartenly plus we don't have enough £££

    I can see your point. I think Miller was just naive in leaving us and I don't wish him any ill at all. Stan could have been more up front before he signed his contract, but I suppose he did us a favour and at least we got a transfer fee for him.
    We could do with Stan in the team though as I feel we haven't found a replacement for him.

    I heard that rumour a few weeks ago. Apparently Mr and Mrs Petrov are having constant fights because she wants to come back to Glasgow cos she doesn't lke all the brummies!!!

    To be honest, I wouldn't have him back no matter how much he was going to cost. We're going to sign Thomson and Brown (hopefully!) and don't need him. The last 6 to 12 months at the club he done nothing. Just moped about and looked like he didnt care anymore.

    So, no. Not because i'm bitter, just the manner he left the club in.

    Wouldn't take him back. He's gone and the manner and disrespect he showed Celtic and the SPL was terrible. Hope his career falls on its face.

    i loved petrov while at cellic.

    surprised about some of the comments posted about him.

    it all comes down to one thing with regards to him returning and its this.

    disrespect.

    he downed tools... admitted he coodnt be arsed and threw his dummy oot the pram until he got a move to a so called better league.

    not only did he let the club down he let the punters who paid money to follow him up and down the country in a spectacular fashion.

    stan petrov....for me was a great celtic player. ( imo )
    but
    stan petrov the man... in the end... was a caniving wee *.

    wouldnt want him back after that.... hope his missus makes his life *.

    nae luck stan.... for most, history proves that after the hoops the only way is down.

    One thing I would say about Stan is I dont think he was a bad lad but he seems a very weird sort of guy who did a lot of thinking and maybe came to the wrong conclusions. Bit flakey more than son of satan IMO.
