    I'm fairly sure I read that Ferguson was only a Rangers fan because Ibrox was closer to him growing up. Apparently he used to go to Celtic Park, albeit rarely. He only became a Rangers fan for that reason...

    I cant mind where it was I seen it but his dad used to take him to Celtic Park as he was a Celtic fan but for some reason stopped and so him and his brother then went with the people who lived upstairs from them who took them to Ibrox.

    In the Larsson programme that was on MUTV too, cant mind what it was called must be on the internet somewhere about an hour long interviews with Larsson and Ferguson and clips of his time there, Ferguson says on it that his son was delighted when he got him to sign for Man U as he was his 'favourite player' and he won a few quid when he bet on him to be first goalscorer in his debut, wonder if his own weans were brought up tims?

    There was a video a while back from the official celtic charity where he's holding a celtic shirt he signed and Ferguson was printed on the back and he spoke about his dad being a tim. Can't for the life of me find it though.

    I presume Fergie is a Rangers fan, but probably doesn't have that much animosity towards us, certainly not the sectarian hate that can be fairly affluent. He probably doesn't like us from a rival perspective, but that's as far as it gets. He certainly seems to respect Celtic.

    Wasn't he hounded out of Ibrox for marrying a Catholic too, like Souness, or is that just a myth?
