He's only fallen out of favour because of injury. Good backup for the full backs in my opinion.

Take him, not much to lose imo.

Not a chance of making it in this team, never mind in the Art***** disaster team.

Think we've maybe got a chance of getting young Theo Walcott on loan for the rest of the season?

And in the paper, it said we've got Brown and Thomson tied up, but can't be too sure.

    ^^

It's not on the website, but here is a quote from it.

"Celtic are also keeping eye on wantaway Hibs duo Kevin Thomson and Scott Brown. Sources have said they have started contract talks, and the deal is done and dusted, but Hibbees boss John Collins rubbished this reports."

It was in the Daily Star of Scotland.

    Brown and Thompson

Scott Brown and Kevin Thompson will be great additions to our midfield..

They will replace Lennon and Jarosik in the long run !!

Then we will have Thompson Brown Graveson and Nakamura in a

    very powerful midfield !

and what about mcgeady and maloney where do they fit in this so called power midfield. we dont need another midfielder and certainly not two, christ i wish we could just focus on getting a half decent defence for europe!

In the long run...I would sell Maloney...and keep Mc Geady
we need options and cover in all positions.....depending on the level
    of opposition and possible injury...

i have heard from a very reeliable source :86: that scott brown and kevin thompson have signed pre contract agreements to move to parkhead from easter road.

I also understand that mcgeady may be involved in a swap as part of the deal

Bookies wouldnt give me odds for it ANYWHERE !!

Contraversial Timmy. McGeady though was probably our best player for the first third of the season with Naka stepping up in the last 6 weeks or so. I am not saying I'd punt McGeady but I do think Maloney is a fantastic player. His performance last season was superb. I feel if he can beat the injuries he must have a good long run in the team, he is capable, at times, of Luboesque brilliance and last season, when he was brilliant, is the only time I remember him being a regular. For me, when he is fit, he is just too good to leave out.
