You're right, he's too technically sound for it. He's better.

He was our best player at the start of the season. He was brilliant at home in europe in those qualifiers? maybe hes more suited for when we play in europe?

I think his leaving will be down to two things: off-field issues and the tremendous play of Kayal/Ledley/Broony/Ki/Commons this last season. Just no where in the team for him and they have to get a return on what they paid.

While it was never confirmed that the "party" of mention had drugs or prostitutes, it's been reported by numerous sources for months. Juarez and Vela were both suspended from the national team, etc. While I can't claim what actually went on, I think this shows he has some off-field issues to sort out.

I with the lad the best of luck, but club and nationally. He's a good player and I hope he doesn't let this drag him down.

Me personally, I would like us, to give this guy another season at Parkhead. I genuinely believe there is a big talent there. He isn't out the team for a lack of talent, it's got to be something to do with his attitude, or is there something deeper ? I was over the moon with him, anytime I saw him at the beginning of the season, but then everything, went * up for him. I dunno what the problem is ? But give him another season, or at the very least let us know the truth on Juarez. Being open on the issue might cost us money, but we at least deserve to the truth.

One thing's for sure, he's not a right-back, absolutely hopeless there whenever i've seen him. I would use him as cover either for central midfield or probably even better suited to the Brown role on the right. Either way, it seems that Lennon just has no confidence in him whatsoever. Best if he moves on I think, unless things change dramatically.

Do you not think this is what prevents the Scottish game from developing? too often we hear this kind of comment. We should be allowing different styles to play in their own manner as opposed to attempting to change to the Scottish style. really gets my goat this way of thinking. We are technically inferior in this country and should be embracing skills/different approach and let the rest of the league try to cope. He came with a great reputation from Mexico which i believe still stands up as he didn't get the minutes on the park to nail down a place. He has talent there is no doubt about that. as far as im aware he has no family etc over here and this could be an issue in settling like say Izzy who has wife and kids and slotted straight into a position we were severely lacking in and what followed was full support from manager/coaching staff plus the fans. Juarez is only 23 remember and its not always easy to feel completely comfortable in new surroundings. I kind of hope that was the reason and maybe just needs a little longer and gets a run in pre season games to help him. because what i have seen and heard of him he has a great future ahead of him. I just wish we had given him more playing time as there were plenty of times to do it towards the end of games at the very least. If he goes to Spain, settles down and is a revelation we will regret not trying harder to accommodate and help him.

Funny how Efrain always plays for Mexico and even after so little playing time for us goes straight into the starting 11 in their Gold Cup tourney. Mexico has a population of over 100million remember. Would really like to know why he didnt play more for us this season. Just checked out the highlights v El Salvador (scores the first goal in the 5-0 wiin) looks like he is playing middle of park.

See better today (Friday) Eurosport 9am Cuba v Mexico. Put your Sky+ to use folks.

For those that didn't watch, he contributes in the 3rd and 4th goal

Unless he gets hurt, he's starting and playing every game for the remainder of the tournament. He's the only RB left on the squad.

Because he couldn't beat out Kayal or Ledley for the middle of the park, nor could he beat out Ki for the bench. He also couldn't beat out Wilson at RB. I think more than all the other stuff, it's that he didn't play at the level of those other players.

^ Juarez starts for a national team that has better players than all the ones you mentioned.

The thing is, why would you change something that wasn't broken during the season? You shouldn't. Damned if you do, damned if you don't situation.

You'll need him when it's time to play in Europe.

Mexico has better players than Kayal and Ledley? Nah, they would both walk into the Meexican side, as probably would Ki. If not, then why does Juarez, who is clearly not as good as them?

Thats beacuse ledley and kayal got hot by new years and lets face it Juarez never really got a fair chance and was never given a chance to adapt to scottish football, he is much better than Wilson who despite having a great half season still in my opinion can not be relied on for the long term, 6 years of nothing compared to 5 months of decent play is still a big factor. Juarez has the talent to play in CM, RM or RB, at the very least he should be starting at RM

    our dream team would be

    Given

    Maj Wilson Izzy

    Juarez Kayal Ki Ledley Commons

    Long Hooper

Maybe Kayal would? Lol, he would be their best player. The Mexican midfield is nothing to shout about, which is why Ledley and Ki would also be certain starters. Juarez even starts for them, and he has done nothing over here. I take it you rate Juarez above Kayal then, seeing as Kayal would only 'maybe' get in the Mexico side, and Juarez walks into it?

Maybe they would start over the DMs... Castro and Torrado, but just for now... Jonathan Dos Santos will take that spot soon as he's class... but Kayal our best player? over Giovani Dos Santos? Chicharito? Barrera? Moreno? Guardado? Salcido? you must be in drugs...

Also, Juarez didn't walk into it, Osorio has been our starter RB, Juarez has not played in the midfield with De La Torre, and I doubt he will.
