It's a running joke mate. davie_glasgow claims to know everyone personally.

Murray is goin to have to cut his losses. Hope he stands by PLG, but anyone who can make gavin rae the captain obviously has mental problems. I'm loving it!

Their debt is less than that, Sir Legless has been getting it down in preparation for selling them.

I voted yes too but I did fully knowing this thread is just in fun! I mean i'm 100% sure that Ferguson signing for us would never happen in a million years!

But I voted yes because I couldn't help but laugh at the thought of PLG forcing out the only player at their club that wears his heart on his sleeve and is captain of his team. Their fans would go absolutely ballistick!!

Hopefully PLG will be there longer than Ferguson although I highly doubt it, my prediction is PLG will be gone by the end of Jan at the latest.

Having said that though, I still don't think it would happen and I know I wouldn't be fully pleased with the signing if it were too actually transpire!

i cant believe so many people would like to see him join, very suprising. imop it would definetly be NO for me, not so much because hes a * but really i dont want to see any midfielder join in january are main priorty is a defender and a striker! we're spoiled for choice in midfield.

I voted no not because he is an out and out hun but simply because I would not want to risk the chemistry that Strachan has built up so far with the kind of circus that would follow signing Ferguson.
Personally I think he is a good player and we are not overly blessed with central midfielders plus Lennon is likely to finish up at the end of the season. But really I think the kind of sideshow which would follow a signing of Ferguson would be too much of a distraction.
At the end of the day he is a hun and I cannot see him signing for us. My guess is one of 2 things will happen. Either PLG will get fired soon after a couple more hun defeats and thus Ferguson will stay or he will be sold to an english team.

we should be focusing on strenthening our defence where we really need a top class player.also id rather have lennon in his position anyway...let him try playing in england again that would be fun

No, he's an alright player, but midfield isnt on our to do list, and he is a out and out hun.

But it'd be funny taking Hearts and Gers captains.

have u seen a handsome hun
    main issue

once again someone voices an idea that is a little controversial and most offer the knee * reaction without much consideration.
    "total hun"
"wind up the rangers if we sign him" to name but a few quotes etc.
now as far as i am aware barry married a young girl from a different religion to his own. so he cant be a complete bigot.
i would say that when barry first arrived on the football scene he was probably a young boy trying to endear himself to the fans that came along to support him. its a no brainer its the ,tell them what they want to hear syndrome. i would suggest with maturity that the bile that poisoned his mind as a younger man has in fact been diluted somewhat.
as for his behaviour after a certain defeat to the mighty hoops on the streets of his hometown. he comes accross as a bad loser which is no bad thing. its a lennonesque trait. people in glass houses etc.
    as for celtic signing barry.
i would honestly say that for a few seasons barry looked like a world class player but somehow he seems to have lost the way. i would attribute this to playing with guys of inferior ability. no ones making runs for him to thread passes through. lets face it advocaats side had better quality than todays side ( hahahahahaha ) for me though the definitive reason for not signing barry should be based on his footballing ability. and i honestly think that since doing his knee in blackburn ,he hasnt been the same player he once was. question is. is it a mobility problem a psychological problem or merely a player sick of playing with inferior teammates. his signing for celtic would be interesting but i would go for paul hartley before barry.
    hail hail.
