    The asking price would be far beyond what he is worth as a player, imagine him getting injured and collecting good wages for nothing, I would have great difficulty accepting that to say the least, so the vote has to be NO * way! :38:

    Getting one up on Rangers is not all that I live for, you're right about that.

    But that would justify the signing for others.

    I would list our central midfielders as Lennon, Gravesen, Jarosik, Pearson, and Sno. Are they all better than him....I don't think so.

    He's a * * and there's no way I'd accept him in the club. He's Hunned up to the eyeballs and I could never see him wanting to sign for us anyway. Thank Christ.

    But I'd love to take him to Ibrox in hoops JUST to see the look on their fans faces. As its sooo unlikely that Ferguson would ever want to play for Celtic or the majority of our fans wanting him, thinking of their reaction to him coming to us makes me smile

    I don't have any problem with your posts. I quite like them. A few times I have left posts asking for your opinion. I clearly am not doing what I am aiming to do if you feel I've got an issue with you - honestly I mean that.

    I'm just interested in this topic. Today we agreed re Pressley - needs be, cheap experienced etc. But for some it was an outrage to sign Pressley. Not for you or me. Now, in the same day I find myself saying the opposite of what I said about a fifferent player earlier. That's interesting to me, where is the line ? I'm only after your opinion certainly not to attack you. I honestly think I've been friendly.

    I'd pick Lennon before him - granted Lennon will soon be finished

    I see Gravesen as more of a holding midfielder, tackling before the opposition get to our defence and maybe once he settles he will take that role.

    Jarosik is not for me at all.

    Pearson I like but again I think he would need games, or even a regular run as a sub (and getting on)

    Sno - we don't know how he's going to be

    It doesn't even get that far for me sorry. No way would I ever take him ?

    Lennon - Legend, first name on my team sheet

    Gravesen - More to come, but signs that he is top quality

    Jarosik - Empty shirt

    Pearson - Not good enough

    Sno - Early days, a lot to prove but good early signs.


    Bawwy would not walk into our team, but would be a good addition to the squad.

    I'm not swayed by his hun background, when I consider a player his ability is all that I'm interested in.

    Non debate...end of story...he would rather die than play for Celtic...a lot of posters "claim" to know him...I have met him a few times at Alex Rae's shindigs....I#ve known Rae since he was 10 year old...He was at my daughters 18th in McNeils in July 2006...Rangers are shooting themselves in the foot again , as for signing for Celtic...A BIG NO !

    Strange one. There seems to be a good bit of bonding between ferguson, strachan and lennon.

    I think he would be all for it, but he couldnt guarantee the safety of his family if he did.

    Who else will he sign for? He was homesick in engerland.
