LeBron James will have no effect on any decision on the club....although yes i think it may attract more yanks to liverpool fc

 

If i'm correct, i beieve man u fans sung YNWA first, in memory of the air disaster... i could be wrong, but i;m sure i've seen that somewhere before.

I prefer Liverpool to man united.

I'm Celtic to the core, but I've always had a soft spot for Liverpool (to this day, I can't explain why). I believe that there is a bond between the clubs, and this only reinforces my belief, and makes me dead proud to be a Tim:

Well, with American owners already, as well as new American shirt sponsors, LeBron will bring in more fans. It's not the type of fans we like (glory hunters) but it'll bring in more revenue for the club, which will ultimately help.

I agree. I wont be supprised if I see a lot more Liverpool shirts around especially in Boston since Fenway Sports Group(the main owners) is based there.

 

Liverpool fans and the players will love Warrior. I use that brand for my hockey equipment. Its top of the line and great quality.

 

Going back a ways Liverpool had a strong unionist connection.

 

Ah yes. This is the reason my Dad likes Celtic, my Dad was involved in Hillsborough, luckily he got out, but he seen his friends crushed to death, so obviously it's scarred him. But he loves Celtic for the way they helped during.

I gather that YNWA was originally sung at Celtic Park in the late 1950s.

So I think strictly speaking we sang it first, but it was at Anfield in the 1970s that it really caught on as a mass anthem.

As to a Celtic/Liverpool hostility, I don't think there is one, especially not since after Hillsborough. However, there are a number of Celtic fans (especially, for some reason I don't fully fathom, the Irish-based lads) who also support Man U. So I think what you may be seeing is actually the Man U / Liverpool rivalry, rather than anything to do with the Hoops.

 

The way i see it with the celtic support, youll get some who support liverpool and some who support man utd like myself or glory hunting * as were often called (LOL) by the the majority that dont care or even despise both.
Even though i like man utd i still respect liverpool, dont like them mind you but still respect your history and tradition.

Oh please. It is a well known myth that Liverpool fans believe we'll win the league next season, years ago, before our fall from grace, when we were consistent top 4;yes. Now? No. We believe we're on the right track, with owners who are winner, and going from 13th to 6th in half a season with Kenny. I've never heard a song about Munich, if that's true it's only isolated retarted fans, it's never been a full stadium sort of thing; that's for sure.
Gerrard and Carragher are top footballers! Cheating? no more so than any other footballer, both born and bred Scousers, local lads and heroes!

Got no time for any English clubs, the epl is like a hammer beating away at what football once was wish every last one of there yank and dubai owners the worst.

 

I heard Micky Quinn on the radio a few weeks ago declaring how Liverpool are going to win the league next year and a good few scousers agreed with him. yeah your club is going in the right direction but with the challenge of united, city and chelsea there is no chance of liverpool winning the league

Obviously Munich songs aren't a full stadium sort of thing, not all your fans are scum in that way but I've known them to be sang before and the minority that do are *

Gerrard and Carragher are good players but Gerrard is a diver and is partial to an elbow or 2. Carragher is a dirty * with his tackling as shown by the injury he inflicted on Nani the last time United visited your place

 

As opposed to the hillsborough songs united fans have sung, and rooney's elbow/swearing down cameras... Scholes' gets so many yellow/red cards...etc.

 

Do not like them at all ,But i do respect there history and tradition.

I hate the fact both set of fans can not shut the * up about Munich disaster and hillsborough both fans should know better after what both clubs have lost it is really a sad thing .
