Player and favourite memory.

Name a Celtic player past or present, and tell us your favourite or most vivid memory of that player...doesn't have to be anything exciting..just something that sticks out in your head.


I'll start with one of my favourite celts, Stan Petrov, always remember his goal v stuttgart from basically on the by-line.....also his diving header that hit both posts and went in against der hun in a 3-0 pumping.

 

Larsson scoring the goal vs Boavista in the 2nd leg to take us to the final Evertime someone says something about the UEFA Cup that goal goes straight into my head.

 

Thompson against Barca. * electric.

Lubo and him scoring from near the corner flag was the first thing that popped into my head.

 

McDonald vs AC Milan was a special one which has always stuck with me, but there is countless others.

I always remember Larsson's goal in a 3-3 draw against der hun, with his back to goal and turns and volleys it.

 

Don't think this one needs any explanation

 

Hopper's last minute goal at Tannadice this season, the atmosphere throughout was incredible. Definitely wasn't the best of goals but the match had everything and the atmosphere was electric.

Brings back great memories, the celebrations which followed that goal were absolutely mental. Was covered in bruises the next again day!

Aye tannadice was class the biggest celebration i had ths season was, brooneys goal at ibrox, i ended up on the ground two rows in front, wth about 5 people on top of me.

 

Probably the maddest celebrations I seen as well actually, my mate ended up with a burst nose haha
