Finished a re read of Tana French's debut novel In The Woods which is set in modern day Dublin. A very impressive first offering which I enjoyed.

Has anyone read any of the Ross O'Carroll Kelly books? They're hilarious, but really down on Dubliners who wear Celtic tops.

Finished a re read of Daniel Gahan's overview of the 1798 rebellion. Kind of in a diary day by day format of the rebellion.

    The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists

Essential book for anybody interested in Socilaism, quite a heavy read(for me anyway). Was given it when I first became a RMT Union rep. Set before there was a Labour movement.. Current Labour politicians would do well to remember books like it..

Kevin Bridges book is really good so far. I got it to pass the time in work and wasn't expecting much but glad i got it. About 100 pages in, mentioned Celtic a few times and all the jokes are funny. Not a Frankie Boyle effort where he's talking * trying to make you laugh all the time, just an odd joke here and there.

Thoroughly enjoyed "Edge of Eternity" the last in the trilogy by Ken Follett. The others being, "Fall of Giants" and, "Winter of the World."

Finished a re read of David Hay's Paradise Lost. Book more or less is about his feeling of bitterness about the way he was sacked in 1987 and his 4 years as Celtic boss.

Finished a re read of Billy McNeil's Back to Paradise. Some great memories in there from our memorable centenary season.
