I think it's safe to say that we have recovered from the disaster that was Mowbray. It was in the past and it's something we'd all rather forget. We are under new guidance now with Lenny and if last season is anything to go by, we can only get better. We got to two Cup Finals and missed out on the league by 1 point, all under a manager who had to entirely rebuild his squad and get rid of the * that Mowbray brought in. Not to mention the fact that it was his first ever season in management and he had loads of * off the pitch to deal with too.

Lennon could easily have said "* this" at the end of the season there and just walked out, leaving us in a mess and needing to find another new manager. But he has stayed on and it's a testament to how much love he has for Celtic that he is staying on for another season, despite numerous death threats and actual physical abuse.

i tend to agree with this, from the info we have available he sounds like he has a good future and im looking forward to seeing him in the hoops so he can show us what he can do.

With another centre midfielder on the way does this spell the end for one of our current players, seems a little strange to be looking to strengthen in this department. Wouldn't want to lose any of them to be honest. Or is it just a case of Lenny building for the future and lets face if it if Kayal keeps playing the way he has done we'll be lucky to get another full season from him before he's snapped up.

Wanyama sounds as if he has all the attributes to be a player for us, and Lenny has done well in the market. Lets's hope he adds the needed experience-

GK,CB,ST essential- and I say it all the time but another LB a must for cover for Izzy, he could be snapped up with an offer the club can't refuse near or on the transfer deadline day and that would leave us with no viable LB alternative a situation that needs to be avoided.!!!:shamrock:

i very much agree that he can still be a great player for us, i was just a bit miffed when you put him in the ''superb signing'' bracket. i have a soft spot for juarez for some reason.:50:

I was doing you a favour telling you to * off. Hoping that you would salvage some pride and not embarrass yourself further. Didn't work apparently.

Juarez was actually in the Celtic team at the start of last season, but then all of the stories about him supposedly spending nights with transvestites ended up in the media and he rarely featured again from there. Doesn't mean he doesn't have ability, just because Lennon took him out the team after the stories broke and he ended up not getting back in, simply because the team found a rhythm and Lenny didn't want to break said rhythm.

Murphy does have ability, as he showed in the game against Dundee United at the end of the season there, beating about 4 players and then finishing neatly. He never got the chance to showcase his skills often enough though, obviously because Hooper and Stokes hit about 40 goals+ between them and he never got a look in.
